At any rate - I took the inspiration for this from thistlerose's Three Weeks Outside Time. This actual scene, with Sirius saying it out loud, never happened - but Sirius did think it more than once.

Sirius looks so so so sweet, and I just adore Remus' wide-eyed, open-mouthed expression and their hands together like that in the preview, that alone made me go all 'awwwwww' all over again.

and Yay! for Italy, even though I still can't believe the difference was so small.

That is just beautiful, Bruni! Beautiful. I lovelovelove the look expressions. Remus' face is full of astonishment, but in such a good way. And Sirius is so intent and passionately Sirius. It's wonderful.

And thank you. For the Monkey and the letter and the picture and for being you and being so, so amazingly wonderful. You really are the fabulous. And of course you shouldn't think that just because the Monkey's here taking up space that there's not still room for a Bruni in the house if you do decide to show up on my doorstep (not that I'm suggesting you do that. But, well, I AM!!) :D
