So, yesterday evening I watched Confidence. Yes, the film with Ed Burns, Andy Garcia et cetera.
It didn't have much pretenses, but it was nice. I liked how the interlacements mixed. This depends on tastes, I know first hand persons who would have been throughly confused at the first half of the film. (And it is really annoying when these persons ask you the plot, during the film, generally covering with their voice Some Important Dialogue, and won't lay off till they get a satisfactory answer, but that's another story, which shall be told another time.) I don't worry much if I don't get everything, since what I don't notice will become clear by the end, yet I like that little noise the brain make when all the pieces find their place.
Oh, and did I mention that I like Ed Burns? Er, that I like him a lot? And I'm sure those who know my "taste in men" (a cookie to the first who recognize the quote XD) won't actually be surprised, he resembles quite closely (and nicely) my type. Ideal, that is. Sadly I don't know (still! Hey, there always is place to hope, at least) anyone around this standard. Not that if I knew him he'd have surely liked me back, but still. We were talking about hope, weren't we?
And nice the pun with the movie title, too.
God, I should really hire someone to make me stop rambling, when I get too far.
Oh, and Just Another Reason to be Happy, November 1 I will be off to Lucca. If I just think of those I will get the chance to see again (or for the first time ^^).. XD
Another thing. I read a fic from Kest's, House, and I liked it. But.. how in hell I came to that page?? ^^"" The link I used was connected to her (his?) personal page, so probably I came there through someone's lj.. or it was on Daddy's mail? Bah. One of Universe's mysteries.
