[Art] - Broken

Title: Broken
Characters: Remus Lupin
Rating: G
Notes: Still [livejournal.com profile] hpqfac. This one originally started as a doodle - I had been contemplating the idea for a while, but when I began this, it was meant to be just a rough draft, something to keep my hands occupied while I was listening to a favorite radio show of mine. Pity that, as time went on, I found myself paying less and less attention to the show, while becoming more and more engrossed in the thing.

Okay, as you can see, I haven't pulled a "He's gone" with this - it's a sad title, you get a sad pic. It is a kind of mood I've been wanting to try.

And, well, I apologize for the big mark on the paper, at the bottom right corner. I did tell you it started out as a draft... ^^;

Also, I wouldn't rule out the possibility of a (somewhat) companion Azkaban pic.

Oh snap. Seriously, my heart just did a sad little "thump." T_____T

You didn't just try a mood, you read it the riot act!

Ohhh this is excellent as well. You are seriously on a roll!

Love it, hope you will keep posting more.

*wah*

You've done an excellent job capturing... not sadness, but anguish. Really very painful....

That is really really good. Poor Remus ;__;

sfjeafmbhmx...words escape me, because it's just so painful and raw, and wonderful. Gah.

What a wonderful picture. It gets Remus' emotions into the viewer so well. When you look at it, it's like... 'ow!'

OMG, my poor, sweet Lupin. He is so sad. So empty and lost.

*sniff*

*sigh* Oh, Bruni. This one just hurts! It's still gorgeous though!

and that 'big mark' looks like a natural part of the floor, to be honest!

It never ceases to amaze me how much emotion you can convey in your drawings. Devastatingly beautiful.

Broken, indeed. This is wonderful and you rock my imaginary socks :)

I want to hug the poor boy and offer him hot cocoa...

This is sad, but so beautiful. Poor Remus. :( Thank you for sharing. *g*

This is the first piece of art - fanart or otherwise - to have ever brought me to tears.

This is sad, tangible, lovely.

It makes me crrryyyyyy!

Brava! Maggie

Dudeness, I love your art so much. I think I rec you more than any other artist in fandom. I love everything about this, even though it's sort of seriously breaking my heart, yeah thanks so much. The lines the, shadowing, the clenched jaw, the bare feet - I really love how it's a distinctive illistrative style but there's no emotion lost in it. Bravooooooo!

[identity profile] kasche.livejournal.com 2007-02-08 12:29 am (UTC)(link)
...like you NEED to find an opportunity. :P *GROPES*

Hey, say, you got a yahoo id? I got around to change mine and I'm adding people as we speak. :D

(Still no Duck. I'm closer to tears every time I go to check the mail. :P)

[identity profile] kasche.livejournal.com 2007-02-08 01:05 am (UTC)(link)
...knowing me, I doubt it'll last. But still! ;P

Thank you so much! :D

Oh, God, you have absolutely killed me. I just... oh, God. Damn it, why do your drawings have to render me incoherent when they deserve floods of poetic and eloquent praise? This is brilliant (once again). That's exactly how it works, isn't it? Sometimes you can't summon the appropriate emotional response to a situation until some tiny little thing sets it off.

Also, a companion piece would be most welcome, as I rather enjoy being murdered by Bruni Art.
