Voice Meme!

[livejournal.com profile] gothikmaus started this madness, and now I'm blaming her for it. You all should, too. ;P

I want to hear you talk!

You see, what I want you to do is:

1) Think of a quote you've particularly liked, and find it

2) Pick up the book/file in question

3) Read it aloud, recording your voice in the meanwhile

4) And then, of course, post it all on lj.

"Whooo-eee," said Crowley. "Where have you been?"
Good Omens, page 335.

(if you haven't read the book but intend to, don't listen to it. It could very likely spoil the fun.)

The complete quote behind lj-cut, because it could spoil the fun for those who haven't read the book. I did the whole page, because.. well, the single line on its own wouldn't have made much sense. But that was one of things that had me almost laughing the most. Oh, yes.

Also, I've still got the cold, so don't expect it to be who knows what. (not that the without-cold-me is that better... but if I have a plausible excuse, I use it. ;P) I could have waited, but I didn't really want to. :D The idea sounded like too much fun. (And it was!)

"Excuse me," said the angel.

The trio looked at him.

"This Great Plan," he said, "this would be the ineffable Plan, would it?"

There was a moment's silence.

"It's the Great Plan," said the Metatron flatly. "You are well aware. There shall be a world lasting six thousand years and it will conclude with-"

"Yes, yes, that's the Great Plan all right," said Aziraphale. He spoke politely and respectfully, but with the air of one who has just asked an unwelcome question at a political meeting and won't go away until he gets an answer. "I was just asking if it's ineffable as well. I just want to be clear on this point."

"It doesn't matter!" snapped the Metatron. "It's the same thing, surely!"

Surely? thought Crowley. They don't actually know. He started to grin like an idiot.

"So you're not one hundred percent clear on this?" said Aziraphale.

"It's not given to us to understand the ineffable Plan," said the Metatron, "but of course the Great Plan-"

"But the Great Plan can only be a tiny part of the overall ineffability," said Crowley. "You can't be certain that what's happening right now isn't exactly right, from an ineffable point of view."

"It izz written!" bellowed Beelzebub.

"But it might be written differently somewhere else," said Crowley.

"Where you can't read it."

"In bigger letters," said Aziraphale.

"Underlined," Crowley added.

"Twice," suggested Aziraphale.

"Perhaps this isn't just a test of the world," said Crowley. "It might be a test of you people, too. Hmm?"

"God does not play games with His loyal servants," said the Metatron, but in a worried tone of voice.

"Whooo-eee," said Crowley. "Where have you been?"

Hmmm. Have you tried downloading it directly on the pc and then playing it? I can't try that here, so to be sure if it works - I'm not too keen on ten other people I don't know hearing that thing. ;P (not that with ten people I know would be better, but still.)

Good morning, sweetie! :D

You realized I want you to do that as well, don't you?

Morning, you!

I will do what I can when I get home. I must hear The Bruni! The sad thing is, the site is all in Italian, and this is me, trying to work it out:

O.o

But I will persevere!

You realized I want you to do that as well, don't you?
I had a hunch, aye. >.< I will do a phone post whenever I'm next to a book. :P

MWAAAAAAAH!

I uploaded it on ysi :D I didn't have time enough to do that before, otherwise I would have ;)

You mean I didn't use much subtlety? ;P Yay for Liz! :D :D :D

Wait, ysi?! How come it's coming up with some weird Italian site? Waaaaaaaaah! I'm doubly confused now.

You mean I didn't use much subtlety? ;P Yay for Liz! :D :D :D

You're too adorable for WORDS. Also, 'yay for Liz!' is something Sam says quite a bit, so I can't help but hear that in his voice, and it's a weird mind-gave type thing. XD

Hehehe! :D No, first I had put it on that weird italian site, and when I saw it was giving problems I uploaded it on ysi. :D

Naaaah, really? Sam says that too? :D And in your mind what does that look like, Sam with a tail? Or a monkey with a beard? XD (Sam has a beard, right..?)

MWAH!

OMG!!

YOU'RE ADORABLE!! SO ADORABLE!! Oh my God, you are SO! ADORABLE! Can I make copies of you and put you on my desk at work, to make me smile whenever it gets lonely? You are so wonderful!

And tonight is when I WILL transcribe the damn interview for you! :D

*laughs* Dearie, you're out of your mind. ;D Oh, do whatever you like with it, as long as I don't know, so I can't get embarrassed about it. ;P

LOVE!
