I've missed you too. :D I'm fine and dandy! Well, now. Been a bit under the weather, which has apparently been enough to render me kind of useless to the whole wide world. ;P

Fine Bruni B. I'm working on my portfolio assignments. I've been complaining to K an Ni about them all week. My most difficult one is the self-portrait- instructions state it must be drawn. So I started sketching with a pencil, but it's just too stiff and not good. I wish I could paint.

Also, and wow, that Fortune Teller photograph is stunning.

Oh, isn't that picture just amazing? One moment he pulls out shots like that one, and right after he makes you snort everything with the Versailles.

I knew #7 were italians! At the last second I decided that #19 was Subsonica, they look a little less italian but a lot more Subsonica, whatever that is :)

I already downloaded a song from you by #12, but I have never seen him before :(

i am sort of headdesking now because i THOUGHT it looked like a picture of paolo conte, because every picture i've ever seen of him involved the colour sepia and cigarette smoke and deep forehead-creases.

Irony of ironies: I was actually listening to "Eyes Open" by Snow Patrol while reading that meme. I'd only ever seen one photo of them before, though, so I'm excusing myself from extreme censure.

And: Oh dear God, I positively worship Doisneau. One of the museums in my hometown held an exhibit of over a hundred of his photographs a few years ago. I definitely got my membership-fee-worth that year. His art is so humorous, but also so insightful. This is one of my favorites, as is the one from the gardens of Versailles.
