I told you that I love it, didn't I? Because I do, I do love this so very much. And isn't that such a fabulous scene? With all the tension building up to that moment and mwahaha
I LOVE YOU. You brilliant, wonderfully talented person.
Thank you so so so so much for this and everything you've done for me. I adore you.

Oh how I LAUGHED at the mention of Death's stick with the pineapple and the cheese. I was leaning towards the tree-talking bit, but at that I SO changed idea. (Which is why I mentioned it to you at all. *g*)
I LOVE YOU!

cuz you asked
I wouldn't cover up the top of the scythe with the word balloon. I can understand it in the lower right corner, but at the top left, you have enough negative space to move it up. That way it also helps draw the eye down the page from the 1st text, to Death, then to the second balloon. (Also it would keep the text from being on the same horizontal plane as Death's eyes, which bothers me from a compositional standpoint.)
Otherwise, the drawing is good, the anatomy is solid, the rendering is nice. I might have put a touch less shading on the hand and arm bones so they pop a bit more against the shading of the sleeves, but the drawing is still clear as is.
Very nice!
Re: cuz you asked
Aw, you say so? I admit I didn't notice that :/ Then again, I haven't really got a lot of practice with that kind of composition :)
Thank you so much! And I think you're right, I tried making them stand out more - but alas, the original drawing was a bit too small for me to do that ;) Plus, that kind of paper gets smudged if you look at it wrong. It's great for shading, but I have to manage to tame it a bit more. :D
