Apart from the fact that I have so short a free time that it hardly makes sense to be writing here, I just wanted to say two things:

First, after colons caps are not required Alfie is not a movie, so much as one huge fanservice a hour and half long. One good enough that you hardly notice the sort-of-attempt at a plot. Because It's All About The Jude.

Secondly, my Remus is Paul Bettany. OH HE SO IS OMG. (if you're wondering where this is coming from, I saw Master and Commander.) Yeah, just in my mind, but... go on, go on, be a killjoy, would you?

Oh, yes. I couldn't tear my eyes away from him. (A good thing is that, while at first I kept having flashes of Capt. Jack Aubrey in a tie and teaching mathematics, said flashes went away quickly.)

Forgive me for commenting on a more-than-two-year-old entry, but I can't resist because OMFG PAUL BETTANY IS MY REMUS, TOO! He can do the brooding intellectual thing, he can do the unexpectedly humorous thing, he can do the nurturing mentor thing... the man is perfect. And I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks so.

Honestly, when is WB going to realise that they'll double their profits if they just let the fangirls do the casting...
