Thank who/whatever you want, but it's finally Friday.

Is it just me, or lj's login cookies aren't working like they should, as to say at all?

Oh, and Prof. Not-Kiss was Not-There. The one who was here was Prof. Actually-Kiss. Or Kish. Or whatever. *Off to search for Budapest's university website*- like, for real. Yeah, I know. Silly. *shrugs*

And yes, the jokes on the new Pope amused me. This best of all. Honestly, it's three weeks that they aren't talking about anything else, and I was fed up with all of this already after the first one.

See you next Tuesday!

Thank Crunchie it's Friday. That's how the advert went, anyway.

And yeah. It IS. FridayFridayFriday :D :D :D :D

Budapest is lovely at this time of year ;)

Who's Crunchie?

FridayFridayFridayFridayFridayFridayFridayFriday. :D :D

You can laugh if you want, but I actually entertained the thought of asking my prof for his info. :P Only, I'd have had a hell of a time explaining why I wanted them. :D

*squeeeeezes*

I'm so happy for you! :D

Crunchie is a chocolate bar

That's what university websites are for, surely. Finding professors' personal info. Are there great things when you google on his name? I love that stuff :D
Hey, my dad used to teach my mum at university. Way back when. Just sayin' ;)

*squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze* Thank you. Me too :D

Now you have a GREAT weekend. ::MWAH!::

Nooo, you shouldn't have told me this! Now I'm going to think about it seriously! *laughs*

And, it turned out I didn't even need to check the website. There's the man address at the end of the "References" section of the pamphlet he gave us. Both email and the address to his studio in the university.

But I can't actually send him an email with "Hello. I attended your seminary on regular semiovals in PG(2,q), which impressed me greatly. By the way, are you free tomorrow night?", can I?

'Hello. I attended your seminary on regular semiovals in PG(2,q), which impressed me greatly. By the way, are you free tomorrow night?' gets you a lot of points for directness. Subtle can be fun too, it means you get to plot *narrows eyes*

Oooh, hours o' fun :D

[identity profile] kasche.livejournal.com 2005-04-27 03:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Plotting would be good... weren't I so hopeless at it. :P

So, I think I'll go for directness-- but listen to me, I'm talking as if I was going to do something about it! Then again, if I ever get around to do some good Erasmus... originally I thought of England, but Hungary must be lovely, too. :D

Sadly, I'm missing the joke -translate, please?

Oh darling, why don't you get info about Prof. Kiss so you can stalk him? :)

Yeah, Friday!

I hate my job. I want to hit the lotto.

[identity profile] wild-boys.livejournal.com 2005-04-22 04:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Heeee :)
If you are online at all this weekend, let me tell you about how I hate my job. It should at least make you laugh. ::squishes::

"Pastore tedesco" means both "German priest" and "German shepherd". (Yeah, the dog.) Then there's "Papa Ratzi"... and it seems there's around a "Ratzinga Z" song as well, on which I need to know more.

Turns out that I can, indeed, stalk him. I have his email AND study's address.

::hugssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!::

Oh, but did I tell you that I dreamed of you last week? I didn't, did I? Anyway... in the dream there was some sort of meeting at the batcave, and I was one of the first to arrive (and here we know it was a dream). Then I remember that we were talking in English, I don't know about what (but I can guess), but I know I said an enormous number of times "I'm sorry, I didn't understand, could you repeat?" (and here we know it was my dream.)

Quella è una delle migliori, ma di battute in giro ne ho lette tante... Comunque, la canzoncina di Ratzinga Z l'hai vista?

[identity profile] kasche.livejournal.com 2005-04-27 02:55 pm (UTC)(link)
No. No. Ratzing Z no.

Ommioddio, l'idea sola mi fa morire.

No, non ne so niente!! Che e'? Che e'? Ce l'hai?
