Bestiality

I was thinking of bestiality, since the argument was brought up on a bbs. Well, it seems I'm one of the few who doesn't think of it as of a normal thing. The discussion (obviously enough, knowing me) regarded Sirius, Remus and how their relationship can be affected by the fact that them both can change into animals. I heard (saw?) people tell (write?) that this shouldn't annoy so much, since they love each other.

...

Oh well. Just imagine that your boyfriend is an Animagus too, and that he can become a horse. Would you sleep with him in this form? I'm sorry, but no matter how much I could love him, me and having sex with a horse just don't make sense together. *thinking* Yeah, I'm a bit rough sometimes. *sheepish smile*

I am a professional-grade R/S shipper, and I am still quite squicked by the bestial side of this ship. I just can't get into it. sorry. I don't read fics that have it (not even when they are written by my friends)... I think that a lot of people get over it by just not really thinking about it. I mean, in canon we know that Sirius, while in the form of Padfoot, thinks like a dog. that was how he got past the Dementors. So, the Paddy/Remus stories are really him fucking a DOG! that is just gross.
the real way you can tell that people aren't as into this as they seem, is the lack of fan art for it. they are fine reading about it and writing it where they can pretend in their minds that it really is still two humans fucking, but they don't want to see it in the art.

thank you for bringing up my one great squick. now, i feel all prudish.

Love and Filtered Water,
Jo

I doubt we're prudish, actually..

is the lack of fan art for it
Probably that's the point. I don't know what's like for you, but I'm used to imagine the scenes I read in fanfics.. and these ones really can make me squirm. Not in a pleasant way.
(And by the way, thank you for not having put any graphic sex scene in "But too well". ^^" My stomach is very grateful to you. ;) )

oh, god. I don't write smut (I am just not good at it, it's not a prudish thing. I love smut, I just can't write it.) but I was kind of grossed out just writing the two of them together at all. it is wrong. it is evil. it cannot happen. but to make it smutty.... eww. never. I am really shuddering just thinking about it.

Love and Squicked,
Jo

I know the feeling.. XD

I know the feeling of the rest, too. Well enough. ^^"

Yeah, I know you think so. ^^ I was just worried about.. er.. Remus' rear intimacy, as to say. ^__^"
