[ART] CATE!

So, here's my late-in-coming birthday gift for Cate. When I realized what had happened (:P), I had to pounce on the first idea that crossed my mind (and that was likely to get done in reasonable times.) I wanted to have it done as soon as was conceivable, but I'm not been much at home&able to draw lately, and it turned out rushed enough. I'm really sorry about that.

Title: Can You Keep a Secret?
Rating: G. Once again.
Notes: So, last 3rd od September the celebrations for a certain [livejournal.com profile] sheafrotherdon's bday begun. This is my own contribution. :D Thank you, Cate, for being both such a good writer and such a lovely lady. :D

Happy birthday, [livejournal.com profile] sheafrotherdon!

"...can you keep a secret?"

You know... Picturing the scene in my head, and thinking about what phrase could follow up, the only one that came to mind was "I want to shag you stupid". (I rather suspect the climbing-in-bed part, which I thought of in a later moment, was a little influenced by that.) But we're not here to discuss my one-track mind, though. :P

Whoops! Photobucket must have resized automatically the picture, yesterday.

As a result of having (and wanting) to rush, not to mention of my inability of planning anything EVER, I spent hours on some parts and mere minutes on others. (See Sirius' hair.) Not that the parts I spent hours on came out well. (See pillow.) (HATE pillow.) (No, I still don't like it, and no, by god, please don't praise it. I might get dangerous.)

(Speaking of which, sorry for freaking out yesterday. I hope I didn't made you worry (although I had said it was noting important), they were just drawing-related jitters. It's always like this, too. If what I'm doing turns out bad enough, I get in a mood fit to commit murder. :P Usually I let off steam swearing a bit loudly, but I was in a, er, rather public place. I was alone in the room, that's true, but there were people nearby. I doubt they would have appreciated much hearing a rather foul (and lengthy) string of Italian curses.)

There's half the shading lacking, too. *sighs* It didn't seem so bad yesterday. The fact was, I had the chance of freely using the scanner yesterday afternoon, and I had no idea when I would have been able to do so next - so I found myself having to finish the pic, scan it and get ready to go out in less than a hour. None of them came out well.

(Lj deleted all the changes I had made since yesterday and I had to rewrite it all. Damn lj.)

ETA: Changed picture a little little bit.

Also, I remembered to add something that SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE ALL ALONG.

Grazie mille cmq, cara. :D

It looks like there could be a whole story under this one. What is Sirius telling to Remus? Is he the one to reveal a secret? Does it have something to do with him climbing in the bed beside Remus?

Oh, I love it!

[identity profile] kasche.livejournal.com 2005-09-09 10:48 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, it's Sirius. :D I have no idea what the story behind it could be - I had a flash of this scene, and went for it. While I was working, I realized that a Sirius who was looking that way at a Remus in a bed would have never kept out of said bed, hence the climbing. :D

Thank you, dear. So much.

I'm suddenly wondering if you thought that I couldn't differentiate Sirius from Remus on your pic. Of course I could! And I'm sorry if it sounded like I didn't. Youre puppies are so wonderfully yours and so wonderfully Sirius and Remus...

*hides in shame*

[identity profile] kasche.livejournal.com 2005-09-10 02:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, no, nononono! I didn't think that! I put the emphasis on the names as a way of saying "Sirius, who thinks like a Sirius" and "Remus, who is Remus", or something like that. :( I'm so sorry I gave you that impression! *sigh*

*HUGS*

Sirius´ hair wasn´t ready in the pic you sent me, right? and being so smalland all I thought it was Remus.

Secrets!!!! Remus looks so damn good, really beautiful, and his hair!!!!!!

Yep, I can imagine you´re going to rant about Sirius´s head, but everything else is great. You can´t be perfect all the time!

Special bonus: the pillow. I love it. I looks so comfortable :) The sheets, their clothes, their bodies...
NICE NICE

I love you my dearest, bruniful Monkey.

[identity profile] kasche.livejournal.com 2005-09-09 10:19 am (UTC)(link)
Hehe! When I sent you the pic, the thing was long from being done. :D

...

Still is, when you go down to it... *sigh*

--I was going to write in the entry that anyone who said the pillow was good would have had their head bitten off, but now I can't anymore. I like your head where it is. ;D

All the time? When in hell I've ever been???

Sirius' head, Remus' head, the bloody pillow, half the shading, Sirius' lower body... when it's so small, you don't see how much it sucks. I should have kept the smaller version.

[identity profile] spacedye-vest.livejournal.com 2005-09-09 02:40 pm (UTC)(link)
I still like the pillow :)

[identity profile] kasche.livejournal.com 2005-09-10 02:07 pm (UTC)(link)
You're awfully biased, did you know that? ;) But I still love you. :P

[identity profile] dogeared.livejournal.com 2005-09-09 12:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh my, soooo lovely! I love the bit of skin at the small of Sirius's back that we can see. :D And I'm going to second Ni and say that I love the way Remus is leaning into his pillow! ♥

[identity profile] kasche.livejournal.com 2005-09-10 02:15 pm (UTC)(link)
I changed the pic a little bit :P Only, photobucket resized it and right now I don't have the time to fix that. *sigh*

But thank you! :D (I'm not cutting your head just because it's you. :P)

With the new job starting, I only have time to check LJ once a day at the moment - and I missed this until now!!! Oh my god, Bruni, it's GORGEOUS! Remus' face - bless him, he looks so adorably prepared for anything. And Sirius' wee gap between his tshirt and boxers is . . . I'm fascinated by that patch of skin :D!

I love the shading and shadow on the sheets and Remus' tshirt - I could stare at this for hours!

THANK YOU honey! I'm wriggly with glee. :x:x

[identity profile] kasche.livejournal.com 2005-09-10 02:18 pm (UTC)(link)
YOU'RE WELCOME! :D And now there's something more, that I UNBELIEVABLY forgot to add before. Please beat me with a rolled up newspaper.

I'm so, so glad you liked it. And good luck with the new job! What are you doing? :)

Mesmerizing and utterly gorgeous! I wish I could draw as well as you. There's always such convincing emotion in the expressions you depict. Your pictures always seem to be telling a story. Do you mind if I use some of your artwork to make icons?

[identity profile] kasche.livejournal.com 2005-09-12 11:07 am (UTC)(link)
Wow, thank you! That's such a good thing to hear.

Your pictures always seem to be telling a story.
Heh - you know, that what often happens even while I'm just doodling. I draw and start thinking about a story that there could be behind. :D

Of course you can, I don't mind at all! Just, credit. ;)
