[ART] CATE!

So, here's my late-in-coming birthday gift for Cate. When I realized what had happened (:P), I had to pounce on the first idea that crossed my mind (and that was likely to get done in reasonable times.) I wanted to have it done as soon as was conceivable, but I'm not been much at home&able to draw lately, and it turned out rushed enough. I'm really sorry about that.

Title: Can You Keep a Secret?
Rating: G. Once again.
Notes: So, last 3rd od September the celebrations for a certain [livejournal.com profile] sheafrotherdon's bday begun. This is my own contribution. :D Thank you, Cate, for being both such a good writer and such a lovely lady. :D

Happy birthday, [livejournal.com profile] sheafrotherdon!

"...can you keep a secret?"

You know... Picturing the scene in my head, and thinking about what phrase could follow up, the only one that came to mind was "I want to shag you stupid". (I rather suspect the climbing-in-bed part, which I thought of in a later moment, was a little influenced by that.) But we're not here to discuss my one-track mind, though. :P

Whoops! Photobucket must have resized automatically the picture, yesterday.

As a result of having (and wanting) to rush, not to mention of my inability of planning anything EVER, I spent hours on some parts and mere minutes on others. (See Sirius' hair.) Not that the parts I spent hours on came out well. (See pillow.) (HATE pillow.) (No, I still don't like it, and no, by god, please don't praise it. I might get dangerous.)

(Speaking of which, sorry for freaking out yesterday. I hope I didn't made you worry (although I had said it was noting important), they were just drawing-related jitters. It's always like this, too. If what I'm doing turns out bad enough, I get in a mood fit to commit murder. :P Usually I let off steam swearing a bit loudly, but I was in a, er, rather public place. I was alone in the room, that's true, but there were people nearby. I doubt they would have appreciated much hearing a rather foul (and lengthy) string of Italian curses.)

There's half the shading lacking, too. *sighs* It didn't seem so bad yesterday. The fact was, I had the chance of freely using the scanner yesterday afternoon, and I had no idea when I would have been able to do so next - so I found myself having to finish the pic, scan it and get ready to go out in less than a hour. None of them came out well.

(Lj deleted all the changes I had made since yesterday and I had to rewrite it all. Damn lj.)

ETA: Changed picture a little little bit.

Also, I remembered to add something that SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE ALL ALONG.

With the new job starting, I only have time to check LJ once a day at the moment - and I missed this until now!!! Oh my god, Bruni, it's GORGEOUS! Remus' face - bless him, he looks so adorably prepared for anything. And Sirius' wee gap between his tshirt and boxers is . . . I'm fascinated by that patch of skin :D!

I love the shading and shadow on the sheets and Remus' tshirt - I could stare at this for hours!

THANK YOU honey! I'm wriggly with glee. :x:x

YOU'RE WELCOME! :D And now there's something more, that I UNBELIEVABLY forgot to add before. Please beat me with a rolled up newspaper.

I'm so, so glad you liked it. And good luck with the new job! What are you doing? :)
