I have lots of things to do, and yet I always manage to find the time to post stupid entries.

This is a talent as well, you know. (Or maybe not.)

Anyway, this isn't completely stupid, because I want to wish, although two days late (but I told her yesterday as well, and that was one day late! =P),

Happy birthday to [livejournal.com profile] ladyblack888!

This is completely unrelated, but am I the only one snotty enough to be about to stop reading a (long) review, seeing that the author wrote every time "&" instead of "and"? Oh, and there are a lot of very idiomatic expressions. (and I notice them... imagine a native speaker.) You know, the kind of things that a professor would underline with a red ink pen. I'm annoyed by the strangest things, it seems. Like displaced (when not MIA) commas.

I have a question. What happened to Richey James? I read several times that he disappeared, after HB, but I had always assumed that he had died. But reading "back before Richey James' mysterious disappearance", on an article, is making me have some doubts about that interpretation.

...wait, wait, wait. I reach the end of the page and I see a box named "Additional information on The Holy Bible - Manic Street Preachers or other products." It contains "Bipolar disorder resource - Info on diagnosis, symptoms and treatment of bipolar disorders". What is it that I don't know?

On a completely unrelated note, I think I have found my vocation. (You should be able to see, in your head, a subtitle that says: "::WARNING:: she's hardly ever serious ::WARNING::") Me and a friend, yesterday morning:

She: "Brunè, you could make a name as actress of silent films."

Me: "Yeah, I know. I'm totally wasting my time here. I should go and join a Circus, I'd make a fortune as clown."

She (nodding) :"I couldn't hear what you were saying from here, but it wasn't hard to tell from your arms" explicative gesture here "and your face."

Another current theory sees me as door to door salesman. People would buy anything from me, just to make me stop talking and send me away. (Matteo decidedly agrees on this. Don't know why.)

Oh, I finally have the photos from Lucca! But they're too many, I can't write a description for each of them. So, I think I probably will simply give you the link to the album, once I will have them all uploaded. ;P Well, maybe I'll do exceptions for one or two... :D

Dobbiamo vederci in faccia! XD

:'DDDDD)

I sent you a little email, darling.

Anyway, I'm obviously not an expert on bipolar disorder, but I know a couple people who suffer it, and I don't think Richey had it. He was painfully, constantly depressed and royally fucked up. But I fail to see where was the Manic counterpart to his depression to make him bipolar -well, other than being one of the Manic Street Preachers :P

::hugs::

Love and DisappearingActs,
Ni-

I saw it, thank you! And thanks for the infos. =) Probably you already know this website (http://www.thisisyesterday.com/ints/ints.html), I found it today.. it's full of articles and interviews. I wonder if I will be able to read them all today and tomorrow. ^^; Deadlines and me are sworn enemies.

Actually, I think "&" is trendy, stylistically speaking. (Well, many of my favorite poets use "&" instead of "and.") Besides, when you look back at older new English, people used to use "&" all the time.

Hm.. I don't know, I had the impression that it made the review difficult to read. Had it been used in a story, say, maybe I wouldn't have minded as much. But probably it's just a matter of tastes. =)

yes, mine :P

I had always assumed that he had died

what I knew is that he really disappeared in thin air, just like some cases from 'Chi l'ha visto' (Italian show on missing people, for you non-Italians out there), and they still don't know what happened :(
