I've just found out that the Spanish adaptation for Prongs is CORNAMENTA.

This will probably make little sense to anyone who doesn't know Italian, but it made me collapse over the desk.

A little tip? In Italian, cuckold translates to cornuto.

Globalisation. Before a multi-national company bought almost every publishing company in Latin American, there were 3 different translations. Not only they didn't translate the names -thank goodness- but the whole translation in general were 100% better.

Yeah, Cornamenta it's the same in Spanish and it's equally amusing :)

I love you

*off to keep on dying now*

No, don't keep on dying. Stay with us! :)

Ni! Up and about already? :D

...I know I shouldn't sound happy about this, because that means you've slept less, but... well, I am. :P

Is that so? I had no idea. There has always been only one here, and... the adaptation have been awful. We have Lunastorta, Codaliscia, Felpato e Ramoso. At least Cornamenta is funny. ^^; Oh, and the Marauders are "Malandrini" - a name they wouldn't have picked up for themselves not even if their life depended on it.

I love you too. :)

it's almost 10:30am here. Time for me to be up.

There are only one and now -and very bad-.
They are: LunĂ¡tico, Colagusano, Canuto -it's so horrid!- y Cornamenta. I rather like LunĂ¡tico :)

And Marauders are (or were in the old translation) Merodeadores.

I love you more, wholeheartedly :)

Oh! Right... well then, now I can be happy without the guilty aftertaste. ;P

You know, another one that made me laugh was Colagusano. :D But just from the sound, though. What does it mean? In my head it goes hand in hand with colapasta (colander). :P

Love yoy more. Wholeheartedly. ;P

Yey, cola=tail, gusano=worm.

But the most terrible thing is that 'canuto' is also slang for a cigarrete...

...with not exactly the usual composition XD

Love you! Love you both! :D :D :D

Hehehehe! Yeah, I've been told that! XDDDDDDD

And thank you for the explanation! *smooch* (I still like colander better, though. ;P)

XP
