This is actually something of a parody.

A while ago I was rereading a drabble the lovely

jadis31 wrote for

scarvesnhats.

I read the "pot of gold" line. I reread it. I read it again. I put the story away. Somehow it wormed its way on my notebook, so that my eye just had to fall on the line once more.

I SWEAR, that idea wouldn't go away until I'd drawn it.
