Checking my flist this morning, I saw cathybites's post linking to this site - where I inserted my lj's interest list, and I got:

I'm alive! I am! I swear! I just have the worst internet connection ever. At home, I mean. "Worst connection" as in "it doesn't work". I haven't seen a single ep of the new Torchwood yet! How sad is that? Once our personal technician comes back home he'll take a look at it, though. ;P

Speaking of, yup, Dad's still at the hospital - but he should be coming back soon, maybe today already. :) In the end, he had to have his cholecyst removed (last Monday) - even after fifteen days of antibiotics, it was still pretty inflamed, and beginning to bother the liver. Which is why the operation lasted longer than expected, about a couple hours. I was beginning to get worried, yep. :P But all seems to be well now, and guess what, I'm pretty glad of that. :D

And OH BOY but I feel like I've been out of touch with you for months. :( Theer are some of you I miss something fiery. Honestly, it's a crime D: Usually having the internets at home helps with that, too, but there you go. ;P I am so, so behind with comments. Sorry about that! I'll try to catch up, I swear. :( I'd wanted to comment on all the yuletart entries too! Guess what, that didn't happen either. And I'm afraid there's the gift for me in the bunch of the ones I haven't even seen. Whoops.

I'll do my best to do it all! :o Bear with me until then. ;P

Okay. Am I the only one to find slightly ironic, not to say a contradiction in terms, that in order to bring people to save energy (which is a good and sensible thing to do), they're having lots of concerts all around the place? Because, I mean, big concerts are kind of an energy-hoover. Oh well.

ETA: Okay. The latest news on the yahoo.it portal is that JKR cried for Harry Potter. I HOPE someone notify them of some other big news right now, because I'm coming very short of covering half the screen with my hand, the next time I have to check my yahoo email. God, there's so very little else that gets on my nerves like something of that kind...

Just for the record, but am I the only one who smiles blissfully when you've got quite a few songs on the playlist, shuffle option religiously on, and Brianstorm comes up? I do love that whole album.

Ouff... I've finally getting close to the end, with the website. I'm coding the last iframe as we speak. (And, well, I haven't even touched yet the commission page. Freud, anyone?) By Monday/Tuesday I should be able to "publish" it, I think. If I haven't fucked something up without even realizing it - which wouldn't really be that strange, come to think of it...

Oh well.

I'm also thinking about posting an entry about last Friday's party... I've got the photos I have saved on the pc, it's mostly a matter of typing the captions. I'm afraid it won't be today, though - I'm heading out in a hour and tonight I'm not going to be home for long. ^^;

Hello there! :D Just wanted to say that I'm, well, alive. I know I've not been around much - save for, maybe a couple hours in the weekend? And I'm sorry.

It's not really going to change much anytime soon, though, so I don't know how much the apology might be worth. But still.

Am ded. Came back at 04:00, after chit-chat that went from "present and future of the pub" to "world war II", passing through "hackers", "swindles", "drug market" and I don't remember what else. Don't ask. V. stimulating. Also v. surprised no one shouted at us to shut the hell up. May have to go back to bed, though, having slept three hours at best.

Dude, people. Amazing just how much stuff you can post in a week. Still adamant about catching up, though.

On the other hand, there's this magazine about music&movies&stuff that has celebrated its first year of life with a nearly free issue, with "2000 songs you should download". (and "100 songs you can download for free", and I think I'll post the links. If I can.)

Well, I looked at them all. NOT ONE song of the Manics. That's just so wrong.

That is, they do mention La Tristesse Durera, but not its original version. The Chemical Brothers remix. (Which I didn't know even existed.)

So wrong.

Oh, and hahaha I remembered an hour ago that tomorrow it's my dad's bday. Again, oh hahahaha. *headdesK* Out of it, I am. Whatever "it" is.
