Aw, I know you love me, even overposting and all. ;P

Because, you see, [livejournal.com profile] rs_games finished posting just last Sunday! Lots of good stuff is on there - and WHY, think of coincidences, I know of a place you could use to browse through that. *g* Okay, okay, maybe I can think of two... ;)

by type, genre and prompt | by title and rating

And now, well. I did that excel sheet, I better put it to good use. ;) Especially since there's no way I'm going to have that offline archive I mentioned before voting is over.

Complete Post-Hogwarts Stats - Round 2 AND for all the games! )

And this is REALLY all! I hope you'll keep on visiting the community, and the entries that have been produced - from either team, really. But most of all, as a games participant, I really hope that you have enjoyed what you've seen. We all gave our best. ♥
But before we get into that, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, [livejournal.com profile] mindabbles! ...and a HAPPY (though belated) ONE TO [livejournal.com profile] thieving_gypsy AS WELL! ♥♥♥

So, in some scraps of free time, I've been catching up with some stories from the [livejournal.com profile] rs_games HA HA, AS IF. Nope, I've been making the excel sheet I berated myself for not doing during round 1, when it came to putting together the stats. Fact is, the other day I did sit down to save all the entries posted so far, meaning to do just that. Catching up, I mean. (Honestly, it's just ridiculous - and not in a fun way - that I keep receiving such wonderful comments and I have yet to give anything in return. Masterlist aside, okay, I know that, but it's not the same.) The most work I've done on them, though, has been moving all the data relative to them on Excel, doing all the averages and head counts and such. ;)

It's also good that I did that, because hi, I had not realized that so many entries used two prompts and not just one. I'm afraid more often than not my eye stopped at the first sign, without rereading the description and thus not noticing there was a second one. Whoops. I think I got them all now, but it might be safer to ask the people on my team to give it a look over... Even if each checked just their own, it would be great. ;D

I've also been keeping track of the word count (MS Word, thank you), and guess what, I got the feeling that several stories varied between 1500 and 2000 words. The actual (current) average turned out to be higher, a little over 6000 words - but it might have been because of the couple monsters we've had, of 20000+ and 40000+ words. ;D (The 40000+ one I've actually read! I have yet to comment on it, mostly because I don't know how much to say. What I'd really love to do would be a very long and very detailed comment, there were a few points I wanted to talk about - except that "talk" presumes an other person that can talk back. Which she can't yet. ;) So I might write a shorter one, and add the rest after the reveals? Mmmh, I wonder, I wonder...)

Ah! One last thing. As I already mentioned, I've been saving all the entries of the Games, and I'm planning to put together a very simple, entirely offline archive, for my own use. (Likely using my and [livejournal.com profile] crooked's already coded lists. ;) ) Would anyone be interested in a copy? It'd take me no time to make a zip folder and upload it, the second round section would probably be done shortly after the posting is done. Oh well, I could zip it and upload it in any case, it's not like it'd make much of a difference to me. :P

Have I won the prize for Less Interesting Entry yet?
And after this, I think I've exhausted all the kinds of archives I could do for the fest ;P

For the moment, it obviously only has the entries for the first round; with the second Grand Reveal we will have them all. :3 I thought it made the whole archive a little more complete. Tomorrow I'll be adding links to everyone's ljs, now I don't have the strength. ;P

Enjoy! ♥

Together? I think so. )

Before we begin: there's only a few days (er. One, actually) before [livejournal.com profile] livelongnmarry ends (and I was not reminded just by my flist, OH NO). You guys have been so absolutely WONDERFUL to me, but there are also loads of other really interesting offers. Do check them out!

(And, omg. Thank you so much to everyone who bidded, you warmed my heart so much. If I didn't know myself well enough to realize how highly impractical it would be (honestly, I still have to finish answering the comments to the Gorecki-commentary! And it's a fun kind of thing for me!), I SO would draw something for each and every of you. ♥ ♥ ♥)

Here's the second masterlist! ♥ I was wondering whether to start it later on, but it'd probably be best to get to it asap. I do remember how long it took to do the last one. ;P

I'll try to keep updating it often, but these days I'm working at a local festival and it's been kind of eating up my waking hours - which is not really a complaint - hey, I meant that! It's been so fun! - ...okay, a little exhausting as well, but more fun than exhausting - so, it's not impossible that it might go a few days without me touching it. ;)

Oh! I'm afraid I didn't mention it last time, though I hope I didn't really have to: if you see any link that isn't working, is wrong or is just plain missing, please do tell me! I try my best to keep it all in check, but stuff like this has a way of happening anyway. ;P

Also, my fellow madwoman [livejournal.com profile] crooked is maintaining the other half of the list, just like last time! ♥

And in case you might want to link here (be my guest ♥), a way could be:

Angst | AU | Fluff/Romance | Horror/Adventure | Humor/Crack | Hurt/Comfort

Aries | Taurus | Gemini | Cancer | Leo | Virgo | Libra | Scorpio | Sagittarius | Capricorn | Aquarius | Pisces

(Of course, I make myself an "archivist icon", and what do I do? I leave it at home. Classic.)

So! The posting for Round 1 of [livejournal.com profile] rs_games is done and over with! All submissions have been posted (mine included, har har har) and you've got until June the 23rd to vote for your favorite ones (you know, wink wink nudge nudge. Oh god I'm shameless). We hope you would like to let our masterlist aid you in the process. *g*

That's the last time it will be updated, I suppose? I'll be starting a fresh new list for the second round, and something in me begun to wail at the prospect of adding a "by author" (reveals will be up next week) section to this. In case I might do one at the end of the fest, with the works from both rounds. In case.

Since by now we have all the data, how about some STATS? )

*looks at clock* Right, there goes my internet time for the day. I guess the more polical rant I had in mind (heart) will have to wait a couple more days. Anyway, the just of it was that we're screwed up, down and sideways.

On the upside, at least the last Subsonica album is kind of brilliant. ...which is not really much in ways of comfort, is it.

[livejournal.com profile] rs_games picked up posting again, and so the list has got updated. :)

But no worries, you won't get this message each time I do. ;P I'm doing this now also to alert you to the fact that new entries to the list will be marked with a , and that you'll be able to tell the Not Worksafe art by the NWS right after the title. (For yes, now we need it. :P)

Yep. The notion that I might be having way too much fun with this has been crossing my mind. Occasionally. But never for long.

(Oh, and since some of you have first seen the archive, it has also aquired a "By Rating" section. I find Very Amusing Indeed the fact that there has yet to be a single G rated entry.)

Enjoy! :D

ETA: You want to join our team? Now you can! ;D Info here.
If you are one of those who enjoys the Remus/Sirius pairing, there are so many goodies that [livejournal.com profile] rs_games has been dishing out these past days, isn't that true? Enough to keep you warm, cosy and entertained for days on end. ♥

But isn't it almost like viewing the window of a bakery shop? There are so many things that look appetizing, but more often than not, you can't take them all - you have to make a choice and you might end up asking the man/woman at the counter for advice.

Here is an attempt to do just that. :) Below you will find a comprehensive archive of the submissions posted so far - limited to my team's entries. The lovely girls of Team MWPP will have to make their own, if they like the idea ;P my colleague [livejournal.com profile] crooked is hosting the MWPP masterlist! *g* - which you will be able to browse by type, by prompt, by genre, by title and by rating. (Order-obsessed? Me? Why maybe a little...)

I will keep updating it as the mods will begin posting again - of course, according to what online time I will actually have. ;) For the moment, dig in and have fun! :D

...and don't forget to vote. ;P

Time for a little recap, so it is! *g*

This is what has been posted so far for my team. All of you are invited to browse, see if there is anything that interests you and draws your eye, and do vote if you feel so inclined. ♥

(Oh ha ha - the only thing missing here is me tapping my throat three times. ;P)

  Amid A Crowd Of Stars
Harry is having trouble with his homework. Sirius listens as Remus helps him.

  Beyond the Veil
What happened after Sirius fell through the veil.

  The Choice
"It's the fear of what comes after the doing that makes the doing hard to do. But you can almost always live with the consequences." — How might one choice affect your life? Remus POV, canon compliant through DH.

  The Line in the Sand
"The friend is the man who knows all about you, and still likes you." — Everyone does things they know they shouldn't. Sometimes, they even regret them. When Peter confessed to Sirius that he was a Death Eater, the world changed.

They’d have you believe war is romantic—with soldiers ready to lay down their lives for Queen and Country and love found in even the darkest of times. But for those caught up in battle—those who watch their lives and loves break before them—it means picking up the pieces, rebuilding what you can and learning to move forward again.

Fifteen years after he thought he’d left it behind him forever, Remus Lupin is back at Hogwarts. It is all much as he’d left it in 1978, with one notable exception: where once he’d roamed the corridors of the castle alongside Sirius Black, now he hunts him down. And try as he might, he just can’t stop thinking about the events that led up to this change.

"A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than you love yourself" — Remus comes home after a long day at work.

  Weightless Again
"The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it." (Oscar Wilde)

We all hope that we are well met you will enjoy our production and will want to come back for more. ;) *bows*
