Aw, I know you love me, even overposting and all. ;P
Because, you see,
rs_games finished posting just last Sunday! Lots of good stuff is on there - and WHY, think of coincidences, I know of a place you could use to browse through that. *g* Okay, okay, maybe I can think of two... ;)
And now, well. I did that excel sheet, I better put it to good use. ;) Especially since there's no way I'm going to have that offline archive I mentioned before voting is over.
For the second round we have had 30 works total. The stories were 25, with a word count hovering about 5960 words. (Two stories deserve an honorable mention, for achieving 20000+ and 40000+ words. I mean. Guys.) The art pieces have been 5, with 3 strips and 2 illustrations.
The only neglected prompt was Aquarius (Clarity allows you to evaluate every development with real discrimination and to know instantly what needs to be done rather than facing a nebulous array of options. Certain priorities are about to get sorted.), while the others have been used as follows:
Well, Taurus did lend itself well to our time span, didn't it?
This time, Fluff/Romance literally stomped over Angst!
It was quite the turnabout from last time, I wonder what brought this on.
As for the ratings, not much surprise there - again, PG-13 doesn't have much competition.
That's all for the partial results - on with the general recap!

All Games Stats
During the whole games, Team Post-Hogwarts has totaled 71 works! 58 stories, with an average length of 5839 words, and 13 art pieces - 8 comic strips and 5 illustrations.
And the margin gained in Round 2 was apparently enough to have Fluff/Romance as the Winning Genre for our Team:
Rating-wise, still not suspence - PG-13 just overwon. Being a "middle" kind of rating, I suppose it's not much surprise.

And this is REALLY all! I hope you'll keep on visiting the community, and the entries that have been produced - from either team, really. But most of all, as a games participant, I really hope that you have enjoyed what you've seen. We all gave our best. ♥

on 2008-08-14 01:42 am (UTC)As someone who only boarded HMS Wolfstar just over one year ago, I sometimes felt like I had missed its heyday. The Games proved me wrong. The scope of imagination and talent displayed by all of the participants blew me away. I laughed, I cried, I thought and dreamed about these characters thanks to everyone's efforts. It was like a personal arts festival awaiting my convenience every day. I know that I will go back to enjoy the entries over and over again so I must offer special thanks to you Bruni for these indexes.

on 2008-08-17 12:39 pm (UTC)And you're very welcome! I didn't think myself I'd end up doing all that, to be honest, but once I begun I kept getting ideas! ;P It's also true that it's the first time I've felt so involved in a fan-contest. I've taken part to a number of fests/exchanges, that's true, but the Games (and the ideas of teams that came with them) are something just so radically different from anything I've been in. It made me want to do more and more. :D
