SBRL and Red Handed
Jan. 7th, 2004 10:52 amOh.
My.
God.
I can't believe it. It isn't true. It is too GROSS to be true. Ha!
I've been scarce online for the past fortnight, and when I come back, what do I find?
Honestly.
Oh, yes, it is SO important ad SO relevant if we chose to put "the end", "finis" or "fin" at the end of the stories.
Really, this is the sort of things that makes me feel normal.
If anything, among all that rubbish I found also Mrs Ron Weasley's new fic, so I'm happy all the same, but..
Is there anyone who didn't feel the sudden impulse to laugh their head off?
Oh, and Happy New Year!, by the way.
Usually, at the start of a new year one is optimist enough to be making Resolutions. I could as well skip that part, since I won't stick to them. And I can't even say it isn't for lack of will, because THAT is the point.
But, well, New Year's Day is also time for balances, right? So, I want to thank all the people that made this year what it was. Even as optimist as I am (and how a polemic person can be optimist is beyond me), I won't say it was a wonderful one, because it isn't true. But it had wonderful things in it, and it is enough. Friends I already had kept on standing by me, which shouldn't be taken for granted, given how insufferable I can be. I met new ones, which I'm starting to know, and I'm starting to like. If I changed a little for the better, last year, all the credit goes to them. I love you, people. Ok, ok, the mushy moment is finished..

You are a freeform writer. Individualistic with a
sense for the different and challenging, Walt
Whitman and his poetry lacking meter and rhyme
is just what the doctor ordered. You're quick
to write something that the rest of the world
doesn't accept as poetry, quick to separate
yourself from the average joe. An author with a
true sense of self, you have confidence in your
abilities and aren't afraid to show it. :) GO
YOU!

Oh, yes, save that (for the world's sake) I don't write poetry, I don't know even what confidence means, and I'm not nearly as afraid as I should be to show the rubbish I write. Oh, well.
Stray thought - I'd like to read a Slam Dunk slash fic with the pairing Mitsui/Kogure. Don't know why. I always thought of that couple as canon.
