So, I've finished it, and before I go looking over the entries:

  • You know what? All the mechanics are still not clear to me, but I strongly doubt that Snape has changed sides. Not because I particularly fancy his character, I never have; the main reason is simply that it's too blatant. I couldn't help thinking of how Sirius looked all through PoA.

Yeah, that's all. A rather poor argument, I know. :P

  • Do you know what scared me more, when it comes to ReTarded (I love you Ni!) ? The fact that... well, it didn't throw me off. I was there, reading the infirmary scene, and it didn't throw me off.

I'm still scared about this, and I refuse to expand on the argument.

(All right, I am. Probably it's because I had been already sort of spoiled about that, so it was easier to see the signs, and there were. And really, for all we see of Remus, anything could be.)

(And honestly, think of it. Sirius is dead, Remus is around and you have a Mary Sue wandering around your books. Whoe the hell else would you try to get hooked up with?? Tsk.)

(If the two marry I'm still going to burn the book, though.)

(Ok, I won't. But I will have many thoughts in that direction. I may even throw around a pillow or two. (Well, I'm not too keen on breaking forniture and stuff, you know. :P))

  • On the other hand, when Harry voiced the possibility that Tonks may have been in love with Sirius, I burst out laughing. At the moment I felt a bit mean. Thinking about it now, it tranquilizes me a little.

Anyway, I don't think I need to say this, but yes, I'm still a puppy shipper. It's like an incurable illness. Only much more pleasant - if you think of the right (fan)stuff. :P

  • Oh my, I took such blunders! ::laughs:: Well, evidently enough it wasn't Tom. :D And go figure, at a certain point I even thought it could have been Dumbly! Snape had crossed my mind, at the party, but not for more than a moment. There was a reason for it, but *embarrassed coughs* I can't remember right now.

Oh, and-- oh, I confess it, when I read Hagrid's note about Aragog I thought it was a trap. Because, well, it was written in a good English. :P (Come to think of it, I'm not exactly reliable when it comes to Gud Inglisc... :P) Thinking about it afterward, I doubt that was the first note Hagrid has sent the boys.

Yes, that means that even the first note made me suspicious, and that I have a marked tendency to not learn from my mistakes. :P

I know there's a lot I'm not saying about the book, such as actual impressions... well, that would take way more time than what I've got, and I doubt it would be too interesting anyway. Personally, I prefer to infest friends' entries with them. :P

But in short - yes, I liked it. A lot. And I'm glad I was right - JKR is taking pleasure in writing HP again. Or, at least, she reminded how to let us now she is. Because in Ootp it certainly didn't look like she did.

*off to prepare voodoo dolls*

Oh my god, I can't believe it! I can finally check my flist again! :P

*looks at clock* I don't know if I'll manage to reply to all the comments right now. Oh, you have no idea how easily I get sidetracked. Anyway, for the moment I'm saving all the HBP entries I've seen that interested me, so if it's not today it will be on Monday. :D (that I will leave comments, I mean.)

Yeah, just purely on the Snape-not-bad thing. JK, right, she spent so long making Dumbledore out to be this omniscient genius, and then ok, he cocked up pretty badly in OotP but she has recreated him, in HBP, as Mr Omniscient again. And he has always, always, trusted Snape. So. Man had something up his sleeve, if you ask me. Although, now of course Snape has killed Dumbledore (did I say that out loud?) he Cannot Live, but I expect he'll give his life selflessly for the cause in Book 7 thereby redeeming himself. À la Darth Vader. Bless.

Anyway laterzzzzz, I go to iron shirt now. <3

Good, good girl!
Now I can finally speak to you without fear of spoilers **

I'm surprised to see you didn't burn the book after the infirmary scene, though XD
And I totally agree with you about Tonks in love with Sirius... tht's just the stupidest thing I've ever heard ^^;

And about the Half-Blood Prince... *cough*
Did you notice that the title of the book can be translated in 'Harry Potter and Severus Snape'? Oh, JKR, you big big slasher!
*runs away before rotten tometoes start to fall*

Oh, and about Snape's 'side'...

I think most of the people feels the same about Snape. I'm going to feel very stupid if it turns out that Snape was just bad all the time.

My er... theory says Dumbledore doesn't beg for his life blah blah his death was staged and he asked Snape to do it.

ReTarded: all copyrights to Oo :)

And you better keep shipping puppies or you'll suffer my wrath :P
