It has really cooled down, lately. It's still warm enough to say "hey, summer!", but we're not sweltering anymore. And since a fresh Bruni is a happy Bruni, and a happy Bruniis a has more chances to be a productive Bruni, you all get happy Marauders.
Don't make those faces, now. It's not as bad as it sounds. (And my productive streaks never last too long, so you have nothing to worry about there, too.)
(And you're not allowed to tell me that Remus' smile looks like a grimace. Even if it may very well be true.)

I have a title mwahahaha The title is a line from "The Ghost Of You", by My Chemical Romance. The lyrics lend themselves so easily to... strange connections, let us say, then I don't think I need to add anything else. (Honestly, one line from there is quite obvious.)

Honestly, though... I know I've done worse, but Remus' face still isn't convincing. It's not the face of someone who's howling with laughter. And god knows if I redid it hundreds of times. Fuckfuckfuck. I think I see now. Maybe I'll update the drawing later today.
ETA: I rescanned the pic, so now the background is an actual white... but I didn't touch it otherwise. So, any mistake stayed exactly that way. *sigh*

on 2005-07-12 03:36 pm (UTC)hmm, i really thought i commented on this. I remember seeing it and thinking 'holy shit thats awesome' but I obviously did not express that sentiment here to you. let me try now.
I love James' hair and the way his hand is over his mouth in the universal 'holy cow, did that just happen?!' expression, & I love Sirius' eyes and the way that somehow even without colour they seem bright. Remus is of course always love but I really love the way his eyes are scrunched up. It's such a hard facial expression but I really think you've got it. and Peter looks like he's torn between horror and laughter sort of like, 'I can't believe we did that and it turned out so funny'look. anyway, well done :D

James - leave a compliment on his hair and I'll love you forever. I've drawn him a total of three-four times, and it remains the part I find more difficulties with. :D I'm glad you think so of Sirius' eyes, too - lack of colors can often mean a lesser incisiveness of the picture. And Remus - well, Remus took a lot of work. I'm still not glad about how he turned out, but I am glad that you liked him. :D
