Notes/comments: First of all, I want to thank the girls at artbeta who have helped me. I'm so very grateful to them. :) Oh, and Ni gave me the idea for the house-elves heads on the wall. :D I would have liked to expand on it more, but... I have the bad habit to start drawing on the wrong point of the sheet of paper, so there wasn't as much space for them as I would have liked... ^^;

Oh, and this is my entry for the Shadows challenge over at hp_fringeart. :)

I'm not happy with it. But it will have to do, for the moment :/

This is stunning. It just ocurred to me this morning: have you considered becoming an illustrator? Like, seriously considered it? Because you should. You really really should. You would be a magnificent illustrator. This is just stunning, and you really do get better and better each time. It's uncanny. This is gorgeous and dramatic and beautiful. Wow, honey. I'm constantly so impressed by you!

Oh, Liz! I was going to say that you made me beyond glad, but well, that wouldn't really cover it. :D

As for the rest... well, I've thought about it. Sort of like when I contemplated being an astronaut at 6 y.o., though. Honestly speaking, as things stand right now I *really* doubt I'd be a good one. And even if I would, I don't know if I'd want to, you know? I like what drawing is to me right now - (mostly :P) pressure-free, fun, and something I could drop at any moment, if I so wanted. Which is probably what keeps me going, but let's not go there for the moment... ^^;


*breaths out* Really? I was afraid I'd totally missed the mark with it. ^^;

...and I SHOULD REREAD EMAILS BEFORE SENDING THEM OUT, too. *cringes* Missing characters or words is for normal people, I leave out entire chunks of phrases. :P

Not to be all weird and me... but DAMN THAT SCARF LOOKS GREAT! Really, the folds of the fabric and the softness of it... just perfect. And Sirius is gorgeous. It's a little hard to stare at the same time at his eyes and his lips with the proper intensity they deserve. They both deserve my undivided attention for a good long while. And I'm also getting distracted by the little curl of hair next to his ear... I think I'm in love.

It is all amazing, but my favorite part of the whole picture is his mouth. It's beautiful. I'm floored by his hair as well. You are so talented! I also know how hard it is to draw brick walls..and then there is the scarf...all of it is so wonderful. :D
