First off, all of you ought to know I adore the tv series Scrubs. I've been watching it ever since high school.

That said, yesterday night, before heading out to the "building yard" (will add explanation later on), as I was washing the dishes I saw that they aired an old Scrubs episode. The one with the airband.

I went to the yard at 22:00 because of it.

Oh, the LOVE.

How I miss my old "not that bad" icon...

As for the general Life of Bruni,

  • My affection for lists might be reaching embarrassing heights

  • Am still sadly Duck-less
    • AND THE SADIST THAT THE JOJO IS ISN'T HELPING ANY

  • I love YOU beyond words

  • I'm sloooooowly getting closer to finishing the website. Most of the stuff is ready - I've found a version of the lightbox 2.2 that works with iframes, for which I am extremely grateful, though I might also end up using Thickbox. Mmmh, expect a poll in the near future, too - I'm not to sure in which category I should place some of the pics, and I AM known for exploiting you people. ;P

  • Carnival party. You know how we (me & my RL friends) often put up parties? This time it's a Carnival one, and it's kept me occupied for the most part of the last... couple of weeks, really. So far, we've got the posters ready, the advance-sale-tickets ready, and I'm realizing that if I ever get famous and/or rich it WON'T be as a PR. I suck at that. I am obviously still trying.

We've started working on the decorations, too - that's the "yard" I was referring to upstream. We've decided to decorate the place and ourselves in a Far West theme (oh, SHUT UP. The other options were Fairy-tales and Superheroes.), and so far we've got two pwetty indian tents, and something of a cactus. (We wanted to finish the first and start a second one yesterday night, but alas, the guy who had to bring us the material DIDN'T. So we made cushions (out of an old mattress) and the second tent.)

The cactus, in particular, is made of foam rubber. Which was originally white. Oh, you have NO IDEA how much the main body looked like a giant tampax. And I'd just finished sewing the rounded top, when a friend told me "Don't cut the thread! It'd be impossible to use without!" Good times all around. Now we've added the arms and painted it green, so the resemblance is a little less striking, but still. Oh, I've taken a photo too! Sadly I don't have the cable I need with me, so I can't show you yet. But oh, I will. It's too precious not to share.

(If only we can figure out where we could find enough polystyrene at a low enough price, we might even do a canyon on the background. We're on a ROLL.)

It took me a while, but it finally sunk in how slightly embarrassing the old Y!M ID was... so I've changed it:

Oh, and... well. I saw this. (...and this too, actually.)

If I got a little teary eyed it's TOTALLY hormones' fault and if you mention it to anyone you'll wake up tomorrow and YOUR LITTLE TOE WILL BE MISSING.

Not that I'm vindictive or anything.
