Believe it or not, but while it was undergoing the scanner-treatment I felt like I'd been running a marathon.

...which, considering how long ago it should have been ready, is not completely out of order.

James turned out so camp. o_O Swear that wasn't intentional.


The best part is that I couldn't help imagining the animals talking, in the tapestry. Snakey has the face of someone who's telling a lewd/stupid story, the kind you hear in bar, and which is usually false, but still plausible enough; Gryff's raised leg might mean he's telling Snakey "come on now!", but the bland expression suggests he's probably wondering whether what he's raising is true or not; the badger has this sufferent/resigned position, like he's sighing to Raven "what are they talking about again...?", but Raven snaps back "don't bother me! can't you see I'm doing yoga?"

I swear I hadn't smoked anything at the time.

Also - midnitemaraud_r? *wiggles eyebrows*

Gosh, I don't know how you're get this one, but I was so in need of a great art, fic, whatever, just to make me feel at least a bit comfortable with myself today. That is one BEAUTIFUL fanart. Just the look on Sirius and Remus faces and the atmosphere, simply beautiful, pierces the heart. Thanks a lot for posting it!

Nice picture! I found the link on remusxsirius. The shading is very nice and soft, but still has good contrast. The feet in particular are rendered very well (did you have a model?). I'm a little bothered by the white space in the top left; it just draws my eye a lot. Anyway, great job!

-Gapes- That is awesome! I can't believe you have produced such an amazing piece of art work. I love all four of the Marauders and I hate that you can draw hands and feet so perfectly. xP No, seriously, that is a brilliant drawing and, dare I say it, if I didn't know it was drawn I would have said it was more like a black and white photograph. Just...wow. I <3 the title too. They all look so comfortable where they are, especially with James' leg thrown haphazardly over the sofa. And after your little comment on the shield I went back and inspected it more closely and I laughed at how accurate your description was! Although, I would say that the lion is more like: 'You dawg! Then what did he do?' xDD Yeah, maybe not.

Anyway, my congratulations and thanks for sharing this masterpiece.
