[Art] - Out The Window — Oh Jeez
Apr. 27th, 2007 12:11 amTold you I'd do something more for
wellymuck...
Title: Out The Window
Characters: Sirius and Remus
Rating: G, methinks.
Prompt: Day 2
Notes: For
nassima! I miss you, doll. I don't know if you're lurking or if you're completely offline, but at any rate, you'll be getting this in the mail not too long in the future, I bet. ;)
New scanner... Dad got one of those all-in-one deals, scanner+printer, and I'm still playing out with it. Don't know if I prefer the old one, though. Then again, it was pretty old - you had to be careful and pet it a few times, if you wanted it to work. Oh well.
Also, as for what the guys are looking at, you're pretty much free to imagine whatever you like, of course. Personally, I lean towards the "gossiping like old women" option - or maybe Remus: "Look at that idiot down there! He's just like you!" and Sirius: "Oh whatevs. *snuggles*" - but that might just be me being my very prosaic self.
Title: Oh Jeez
Fandom: Poppy Z. Brite's Liquor series
Characters: G-man and Rickey
Rating: Still G.
Notes: And this is for the wonderful
jadis31, part of the thank-you for the wonderful gift she sente me - whoops, quite a while ago, by now. My way of saying "Oh hell, I fucking loved it".
I've been owing you this for the longest time, dawg.
And this comes from The Santa Clause at the Lakeside Mall - I won't say which scene it is, wouldn't want to spoiler it for anyone, but that little play - just like the other - is one of the cutest thing I've ever read. :D

Aw, I know! I just hope she's alright. :(
YOU are going to read those books, if it's the last thing I do.
...
Come to think of it, would it be weird if I wrote a will just to say "all my Liquor books will go to Ni, and someone has to stand by until she's read them all"? :P (yay for dark humor!)

on 2007-04-28 12:41 pm (UTC)(actually it's a relief, to be honest - I had no idea how to make it vaguely believable. I'm more used to stones than bricks. ;P)

SIRIUS: I'd rather snuggle than think about Kreacher's perving habits, thank you very much.
Okay, so maybe that was a bit cracked, but yeah... :) Love it babe! I love how you draw them!

And the 'Poppy Z. Brite's Liquor series'... Sorry, I can't help seeing them as James and Sirius (and Sirius is looking at a picture of Remus *sigh*). You know... obssession and all that.

on 2007-04-28 05:28 pm (UTC)And I so need to read the Liquor series eventually. I've read Drawing Blood, which I loved and have Lost Souls coming from Amazon.

on 2007-04-28 07:13 pm (UTC)Oh, yes yes yes please do! I love those books something awful. It's more than just the plot, or the gay sex (;P), it's... Poppy's great at characterization, and it really shines through there. If she wrote a whole book about Rickey and G-man, like, going to buy groceries, or doing the laundry? I so would want to buy it, and I'm not even joking. :D
