I'm at page 262 - Godric's Hollow I think is the chapter called - and Godric's sword is not at Bathilda's, it's in Harry's Snitch, isn't it? It's the bit where they say it was the place where the first Snitch was created. Or maybe the Sword isn't there at all and I'm totally off the mark. :P

(You see - that's really what I like best about Harry's books, all the speculations, it might be this, it might be that - trying to guess how it goes before it ends. :D)

And nevermind the row Remus has with the kids, in Chapter 11 - I did not like that at all. I kept wincing and cringing. Is it just me, or most adults there are just that little bit childish?

Aaaaah, another thing (detail, more like) I forgot to mention yesterday - you know when Harry finds the first page of Lily's letter? I did not like the bit about the two of them writing gs the same way. I don't know, I read that as a bit of a too forced way to move the reader. In fact, I've never really liked when people - be it JKR, or ficwriters - make Harry move with the same gestures as James, or Lily, or have the same handwriting. I don't think they're written in your blood, are they? You pick those things up by living with people. I find much more likely if, I don't know, Harry found himself in some position he picked up from, say, Petunia.

But that's really just a detail.

ETA: By the by, yesterday I've finally discovered Feedburner - the source RSS feed is still the same, the one from the Bruniful lj, but it's been burned. The front page of the site has subsequently changed a little. On the other hand, my guestbook has stopped showing. Yoo-hoo. I don't know why.

Ah I loved the fight between Remus! It got my hopes up sooo much that he was with Sirius! Mainly just the part when he said that it was a mistake to marry Tonks, I was saying to myself "Because you still love Sirius!" I knew that wasn't really the reason, but it's nice to think it anyway.

That scene was the final step in converting a friend of mine to R/S. She said that after reading that, she was pretty much convinced.
(*makes gesture of triumph*)

I agree with the whole Harry-does-same-things-as/looks-just-like-parents overkill. We get it, JKR -- he's James' and Lily's son. We get it!

It's IN MY BUTTHOLE, you mean!

I think I'm the only one who doesn't do much guessing. I like going back and finding the clues after I know the ending so much better! I don't like pudding, either! Help! I'm the weirdest human being alive!

Some mannerisms are--Deborah Curtis, Ian Curtis's widow, said that their daughter Natalie would twist her hands in the same way Ian would (despite Ian having committed suicide when Natalie was an infant). And my handwriting looks more and more like my dad's the older I get. Weeeeeiirrrrd. Eeeeeeerieeee. Spoooooooooky. Vooooooweeeel aaaabuuuuuuse!

Aw, poor thing. And it doesn't hurt?

While, truth to be told, mine is the lazy kind of guessing - whatever vaguely plausible idea comes to my mind, but most times without any real backing up. ;) One time out of ten I get lucky and I guess it, but the rest is really just for fun. :P

Oh. Really? I don't know, I still find it kind of hard to believe. :/

My handwriting looks a lot like my mother's. Then again she helped me study when I was young, so maybe I copied it. :-)

And nevermind the row Remus has with the kids, in Chapter 11 - I did not like that at all. I kept wincing and cringing.
I didn't like it either. Remus is supposed to be the mature one. *sighs* I need puppy fics!

*blows kisses*

That's my point - you've lived with her, you know what her handwriting looks like. On the other hand, there might still be an explanation - Harry and Lily have never really lived together, but Lily and Petunia have. So might not have picked up that "g" from Lily - but from Petunia instead. Mah. Whatever.

How are you? ♥

It comes and goes. :-)
I just try to entertain myself and be positive.

And let's not talk of the number of times Harry said how much fun he had with Ginny on the school grounds. That's something else that made me go "I got it. I got two hours ago. Now please stop." :P

Heh! I wasn't exactly sad to see that their marriage wasn't going well, but I didn't like that fight at all, either. Remus doesn't come out well at all - I really had a hard time remembering that he was not the same age as the three other kids. :(
