So, when last year I asked people what they would have liked on their cards, she asked for a magical creature, and I immediately thought of a manticore.

I do love that animal. Love which is mostly founded on the fact that, as Newt Scamander says, " [...] the manticore is reputed to croon softly as it devours its prey."        I don't know, it just tickles my funny bone. Just like an old woman would hum when she’s knitting.

I am kind of weird, ain't I...

And while we’re here, might I also add that, had that pic been in color, the shreds of clothes and the ribbon would have been pink? If you know what I mean.

You see my dilemma? He is, like, tearing some person to pieces. He is. But he's humming and singing when he does it! Just like one would hum while doing the chores! How cute is that?
