Oh, today is such a great day! Why, you ask? But there's the European Championship of Basket starting today! Oh god, I am THAT excited! Well, apart from the fact that I will have to be at the pub when the match is on. And that the VCR isn't currently set up. And I don't think I've got a VHS I could register it on anyway. BUT WHO CARES! Basketball! Lots of it! On a big screen! I honestly can't wait! I only found out yesterday that it was in Spain, though. :( Maybe, if I'd known before I could have forced persuaded someone of the guys to come to Spain with me and see it live. And maybe get a chance to see Nuri, too, before or after. ;P

...

Then again, I did have something to keep me occupied these past few days.

(Here I am cackling madly, in a very evil-overlord kind of style. It's doesn't come over too well if you're reading a written text, so I figured it might be worth mentioning.)

(Oh god, if only I could make a job out of being a tease.)

So... do you remember an old entry of mine? The one where I basically went nuts and started talking about incomprehensible projects/plans/whatever? (The first person who says "yeah, okay, we've read your journal, now would you please say which entry you mean" will get a slap under the head.) Refusing then to elaborate further? This one here.

Well, it's ready. And up. And running. (Also away from me. Oh god please make me shut up...)

So, yeah, my idea of a HP tribute for the end of the series is to focus on only two secondary characters, with a heavy accent on an entirely hypothetical romantic relationship between them, as recounted by just one person in the whole fandom - and GUESS WHAT, IT'S THAT PERSON'S BIRTHDAY TODAY.

(Which, yes, is why this day is great at all. :P I do love basket something atrocious and obnoxious, but this is more important. :D)

(Also, see why I didn't want to say which deadline I'd chosen, days ago? Kinda hard keeping it a surprise from her if I had. :P)

Oh Cate Cate CATE! (If by the last one you mean the year Without Fairies - turn the page clicking on the arrow, there's three/four more after that. ;D) Oh god, OH GOD, I'M JUST SO HAPPY. So. You really have no idea. (Though maybe the fact that I wrote an introduction in this entry bout 5000 words long might have hinted at how nervous I was...) I stayed online until five seconds after you commented - I really didn't have the time to reply straight away, and I wasn't hoping I'd have the chance to reply now - and I'm telling you, when I saw your reply my legs were actually shaking a little bit. :P (And, I confess, I freaked out on at least four separate times in the couple days before posting it. ;D) I'd been thinking for the longest time of something I could do for you, you know? And god, that time I caught you on Y!M! It's almost a good thing I couldn't stay longer. Keeping myself from mentioning anything was actually hurting me. :P (And for the record, remember that you told me you would have been there the next Thursday? I actually managed to make it so that I would have been free on Friday morning, but I ended up falling asleep on the couch. ^^;)

Oh, and when I said that I've got more I actually did mean it! And... well, when I first started contemplating it I honestly had meant to do an illustration for each story - or at least, if not each, at least a lot more than that. There are so many that I left out, that I really wanted to draw - and I'm talking about a physical need here! THAT's how your writing makes me feel.

...hahaha, I just remembered... didn't I mention once, on some review to one of your stories, that I wanted to build you a shrine? Could this count as one?

You know what, though? This afternoon I was thinking back to this, and... you know, I didn't feel satisfied. I had read your comment, don't worry about that, but... it wasn't enough. I still think it's not, by the by. I mean - you're an amazing person! I adore you! You deserve a lot more than this!


Oh, for the record - I am still one birthday gift short. I'm not forgetting that. ;P

Blushing Remus was perfect. Just perfect. That may be my favorite incarnation of Remus, actually. Awww. And Sirius asleep in the hospital wing. Oh, they are both so gorgeous in that picture. I mean, SO GORGEOUS. And the mint one! Am I a bad person, or just too pervy for my own good that I couldn't stop looking at thier hips in that one? Don't answer that. Oh, but the last one! That was so astonishingly beautiful and prefect and Bruniful and wonderful and all things good all in one picture.

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I don't mind telling you that I got a bit scared, before posting it - or maybe the right term would be freaked out? :P Because, you know. It was either going to work, or it would be something of a total failure, so yeah. But Cate liked it, Ni liked it, Oo liked it, YOU liked it, and a lot of other people did - I was kind of bouncy for pretty much the whole day.
