Advertising agent. For rent.

The SR FQF had been one of the better ideas I've seen around, I really enjoyed going through the archive. Ok, I didn't like every fic published -that would have been asking a bit too much, wouldn't it?- sad to say, I didn't even reach the end of some (and for those who knows me well enough, this is saying something), but others were really a nice surprise. ^^ I think I mentioned just two of them..
Strangely enough, or perhaps not so strangely, it had been the AUs to draw my attention more. (No, not the sort of AUs setted post or during Ootp. Even if I read one or two that I liked, I'm still not fond of them.)
Well, seeing a challenge as "Sirius and Remus raise Harry from a baby", one may rightly expect to read a fluffy piece about the classic Happy Harry Family, and in fact so I did.. till the piece itself showed me I was wrong. Luckily. Or perhaps it's just me, who needs sweets from time to time, even if honestly I don't think so.. =P

Or the fic (wrote before Ootp's release, the AN says) about Remus' death ("One half of the pairing dies"). Well, it was well written. I'm a bit reticent to admit that, but it touched me.

As another one did, "For all my days remaining". I couldn't help it, the description of Remus' reaction at his father's death was too convincing. And the one at Sirius' death was just consequential. I never read anything from Altair before, but this has to be remedied. ^^


But if we want to pass on to more cheerful matters.. I can't get out of my mind a scene, with the Marauders at Hogsmeade, Sirius and remus dancing around each other, and Peter that spat out "Oh bloody hell, you two! It's getting really old. The Slytherins are already placing bets. Just shag each other so we can move past this!" His highlight, I presume. *LOL* Well done, Leandra. ^___^


Oh, and just to keep stuck to the subject, I have to quote another fic, published on Fanfiction.net.. first point, Peter is just brilliant in it. And then, when Sirius and Remus start talking together about Remus' inclinations..

Sirius: “When'd you figure out that you were, you know...?”

Remus: “Well, when I was very young,” Remus started sarcastically, “I was bitten by a homosexual and every full moon I found myself redecorating my room and listening to Muggle torch songs.”

This goes straaaaight to my sign on FAP. XD


And now I'm sure I will just never get used to some nicknames. Remy. Oh God. He's not a little, female child, you know. Please stress "female".
And by the way, I don't react any better to Mpreg.

Bestiality

I was thinking of bestiality, since the argument was brought up on a bbs. Well, it seems I'm one of the few who doesn't think of it as of a normal thing. The discussion (obviously enough, knowing me) regarded Sirius, Remus and how their relationship can be affected by the fact that them both can change into animals. I heard (saw?) people tell (write?) that this shouldn't annoy so much, since they love each other.

Oh well. Just imagine that your boyfriend is an Animagus too, and that he can become a horse. Would you sleep with him in this form? I'm sorry, but no matter how much I could love him, me and having sex with a horse just don't make sense together. *thinking* Yeah, I'm a bit rough sometimes. *sheepish smile*
