[Art] - I'd have you see them very well

First of all, happy belated birthday to
thistlerose (I'm one day late, I'm sorry, dahling!), and a happy (current) birthday to
nike_y! *g*
Allllllso, I think I'll start with the drawing-posting - for today, it's the ONE drawing I managed to submit these past holidays. (The one, possibly because it's the only submission that was made up of a single illustration. Apparently my subconscious has decided that if it's not at least 15 panels long, it's not worth submitting to a fest. O_o Sheesh, I don't even know.)
So, here it is - back to the dear ol Dark Tower fandom! *g*
Title: I'd have you see them very well
Rating: G
Fandom: The Dark Tower, book 7
Characters: Eddie Dean, Susannah Dean, Oy, Jake Chambers, Roland Deschain
Artist notes: and that's the group hug from the last book, and one of my absolute favorites. ;) I hope you like! Also... well, I would have added a quote, but I THINK that one might be a wee bit spoilery. (Also, my love for Eddie Dean is so sadly onesided. Jeez.)

on 2009-01-20 08:42 am (UTC)Hehehe, that wouldn't really count as spoilery... but if it's an incentive to keep on reading the series, I'm hardly going to mind! *g*

on 2009-01-20 09:19 pm (UTC)Me... I haven't really read much of King's, I've got to say. Oh, there was a couple books aaaaaaages ago, but I barely remember them - and lately, besides the proper DT series, there hasn't been much more. But... I don't know, I can hardly say King's prose is perfect, but maybe I liked DT so much also because of it? It went from bits and pieces so, well, ridiculous that I just had to laugh aloud, and with pleasure, to parts that hooked me so much I couldn't help coming back for more.
...more or less like with Torchwood, really. ;P

on 2009-01-20 09:45 pm (UTC)I fully intend to read the rest of the books. Wizard and Glass has been on my to-read shelf for...well over a year. Heh. For some reason, I just can't read a series consecutively. But this is just ridiculous. The Waste Lands ended so awesomely.
