This Thing Called Subconscious

Subconscious really is a wonderful thing.

By now I don't have a lot of problems reading in English - it's surely better than what it was, say, a year ago - but when I'm reading a bad fanfic, or a story that I don't like, my brain shuts down automatically. It becomes truly impossible to read on.

Well, this also happens when I'm dead tired, but nevermind that.

There is a huge chunk of you that I don't even have a clue about your first name. I don't know how old a lot of you are, or where you live, or basic normal things.

This is the problem with LJ, we all think we are so close, and we know nothing about each other.

So, I'm going to rectify it.

I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. I promise, I will not make fun of you, or say who asked what.

I then invite you to do the same. Remember, seriously basic stupid questions, don't be embarrassed, you would be really shocked what I don't know about you.

Dunque dunque. Hai presente le materie che hai fatto al liceo e alle medie? Algebra, Geometria, Analisi.. ecco, il primo anno le riprendiamo e le facciamo per bene. (se pensi che io abbia pronunciato le ultime due parole con un qualche tono minaccioso.. be', hai ragione.) Per quanto di ogni esame ci sia scritto e orale, in realtà è un corso molto teorico.. ad un mio prof piace definire la matematica come lo studio delle strutture mentali, quelle che regolano il ragionamento, e da un certo punto di vista è vero.

Così come è vero che per certi versi assomiglia a filosofia! ...non solo per il fatto che siamo fuori di testa, intendo. E si trova più lavoro. =P

E guarda, il passaggio non è stato poi così trumatico.. un po' perché già avevamo fatto bene la matematica al liceo, e un po' perché.. non è così assurda o pesante come sembrerebbe. In più di un'occasione mi sono divertita, a lezione.. XD
