kascheFirst thing in the morning, yesterday, I heard the rumor (I still can't call it any other way) about the death of the two Italian volunteers in Iraq. The announcement has been made on a website: this leaves room for hope, since the ws in question has already reported unreliable statements in the past.
Later on, I read that in another claim there was a mention to a tape. That surprised me, actually. Being the ignorant that I am in this topic, I read some articles from people that know more than what I do. In one of them, a journalist asserted that it was unlikely for a video to come around, due to the role women play in the Koran: if I recall correctly, the phrase was something like "they (the abductors) would probably be ashamed of showing kneeling, in pain, humiliated women". But (a) as I already said I'm ignorant in this, and (b) this is still a war. I let my mind wonder some more on this, but I'll spare you.

If it had already been sent, there should have been more chaos by now.. Let's cross fingers, but I really don't know.
