There! Chances were slim, but I made it. *pheww*
Happy birthday, Minx!

Oooh, lookie! Background! First time ever, I think.
And Sirius said: "Woah, Remus - couldn't you wait until we were in a closet or something, at least?"
Seriously, though... While I was drawing, I wondered if you would have recognized the setting. *grins* Yes, it's from one of your stories. Ghosts, in fact. Maybe it would have been better to chose the scene immediately following this one. Surely it could have been (way, oh way) better. And... there's no UST. All right, the scene didn't ask for it, but... We don't like that. To make up for it, we may do a un-toweled version of, you know, something. We have been asked for it, haven't we, precious? (If I start saying "we wants it rawww and wriggling", too, consider yourself officially authorized to put medown in a kennel.) The scan isn't exactly optimal.. but that's the best my scanner could do, after trying for a good fifteen minutes. All the printer's fault.
So, let's (try to) cut down the nonsense, at least for the moment. I think the right thing to do, now, would be thanking you, and for many things. But if we want to sum it up, I could just say that, after having established that you're a wonderful writer - and, er, my sometimes a little bit prolix emails may have proved that I think so, already - , you're a wonderful person as well. So, um, happy birthday..?
Just so you know, the original plan didn't see this alone, but my sense of timing - which has never worked - didn't start working now. So.. the rest will have to wait, I figure. But it will come, and that's a fact. =)
ETA: Er... if you haven't read Ghosts in a while, or at all, don't search Sirius' cue there. You won't find it, since that's just the first thing that crossed my mind when I looked at the finished work. ^^;
