I was never allowed to have an Atari or a Nintendo (though I depserately wanted one because Super Mario was MY game)- but I was allowed PC games. Ditto! I tried asking for once I couple of times, but I didn't get anywhere with that. Then (but much later) emulators came.. but that's another story.
I haven't played nearly as many games, though. Well, apart from MI (I loved 1 & 2; I did 3, but didn't like it much, so I didn't try 4, which seemed an abomination), Indiana Jones... and, well, Sim Cities. The time I lost there...
