I've seen this around, it proved to be fun, so...

Here we are. Post a reply and I'll draw one of your interests. My choice, of course.

I'll have way too much fun with this.

ETA: I have an account at Greatest Journal, now, too.. Still completely empty, but it could improve. Hey, I said "could". :P

I haven't played it in a million years, but yeah. I used to when I was very young.
Guy is the coolest game character EVER.

And the monkeys... well, I think it's a question of identification that made them easy for you to draw :P

Especially when they're fainted, or very near to death :P

*sigh* I haven't either. MI 1 & 2 are the very first games I played, on my very first pc... *nostalgia moment*

...

Honestly. How was I (were we :P) supposed to grow up normal? Or even sane?

(By the way: have you seen this (http://www.scummbar.com/community/games/swordfighting/)?)

My friend's just rediscovered Monkey Island. Unfortunately, she's also discovered that it is incredibly slashy, in all the wrong ways.

Murrayslash has occured. Be afraid, be very afraid.

I fuckin' LOVED Monkey Island and would play it again in a heartbeat. I never got to play MI2, alas!

It was so so so cool! And I was so so so young! *sighs*

You need to get it! You´ll be frustrated if you don´t play it :)

I wouldn't even know where to begin to find it. Did they ever offer those games on CD-ROM? I was never allowed to have an Atari or a Nintendo (though I depserately wanted one because Super Mario was MY game)- but I was allowed PC games. I had them all- Maniac Mansion with the stupid dark red key card that you could NEVER lose; Maniac Mansion 2: Night of the Tentacle where you had to find George Washington's wooden teeth; all those damn King's Quest games; Garbriel Knight 1 & 2- 2 being the werewolf one with 6 FUCKIN CD-ROMS(!) that I played til dawn after the night I totalled my first car; the Sim City games; and this one super creepy satanic game on my Mac- Uninvited I think it was called where you could be killed by ravenous demon dogs.

And of course, MI. I still love the sword fights.

No idea, but there are always revivals... I should find out.
I never had an Atari or Nintendo. Only Commodores and PCs :)

Maniac Mansion hehe that was so silly!

And of course, MI. I still love the sword fights.
Have you checked the link Bruni gave me in the comment? LOOK!

Now you've done it. I'm going to be playing that all day long!

hahaha... I did play quite a lot, but I rather enjoyed losing, the 3-headed monkey rocks.

It´s all [livejournal.com profile] kasche´s fault, of course. She´s evil.

Ditto! I tried asking for once I couple of times, but I didn't get anywhere with that. Then (but much later) emulators came.. but that's another story.

I haven't played nearly as many games, though. Well, apart from MI (I loved 1 & 2; I did 3, but didn't like it much, so I didn't try 4, which seemed an abomination), Indiana Jones... and, well, Sim Cities. The time I lost there...

WAIT! I'm sure I have it somewhere! I could sent it to you, if you like. :) Only that it doesn't run on windows XP.. I know, because I tried. Alas.

...there's only one problem. Wouldn't you happen to know Italian? No, right? I'm sure my MI1 is in Italian, but I honestly don't remember if MI2 is. Maybe not, but it could.

This is one of the first times (if not the very first) you and Oo talked on LJ. Yes? No?

The very very very first!

Damn! I went to check if the lj notifications, to see if it really was the first time... and now I've ended up rereading VERY old entries, and getting all nostalgic. Awww.

You have ALL the LJ email notifications? O_o Wow!

on 2007-01-07 04:10 pm (UTC)
Posted by [identity profile] kasche.livejournal.com
Well, save for the ones lj didn't send me, yes. :D I just don't delete them.*

...why, I'm the only one who doesn't...? ^^;

* Never thought about doing it, either... god, I'm the kind of person who has problems throwing away wrapping paper. You know, the brown one. Go figure.

Wow! I used to save them in my first weeks of LJ, when I have 3 friends, but after that... no way.

I already save too many things, it's ... It'd be thousands of LJ notifications! I only kept them until I reply them (if I plan to reply them at all).

No idea. maybe everybody saves them and I'm a cruel cold-hearted bitch :)

That's the beauty of folders (which is why I am never going to direct lj notifications to a gmail account.) ;P AND there's a fact that I haven't downloaded emails on Outlook/Thunderbird/whathaveyou in so, so long. It doesn't make a difference, doesn't make my pc fuller, so why delete it? ;)

And it turned out to be very helpful to find old links, old posts, or stuff like that. A stalker's right hand! ;D
