So, Rome.

I'm just going to write a short (in the intentions, at least) update and then get as far from the pc as I can, because I have Things To Do. *sigh* Anyway.

Saturday went well! We had fun, talked a lot, walked a lot, laughed a lot, and took some photographs. Not many, mind you, but at least some. Which is (almost) a first, since most times I forget my camera either at home or in my car. And this time it was a digital camera, so I don't have to finish the rollino (which I never manage to do), and to wait for the development. I'm warning you, though: I didn't have the time (and not much will, I admit it) to resize them, so they're probably huge. This is also why I just posted the links, instead of the pictures. Some of them need a bit of explanation, though.. somewhere along the afternoon, we ended up playing a family. Well, actually they brought up the family idea, and I was more or less forced to join them. And it wasn't even a common family.. Has anyone read Count Cain? Giulia was Augusta, the mother, I was Alexis, the father, Melissa was Cain, the son, and Natascia was another son. (Is there another son, in the early chapters? I read that manga eons ago, I don't remember.. - yes, there is. She was Jezebel. Sorry, Nike. ^^;) Oh, and there are also Aunt [livejournal.com profile] paddo and Granma [livejournal.com profile] joeru, guest stars of the day. XD

For the characters profiles, you can go here. (To see the text, highlight the whole page: the text color is white.) Yes, my profile reads exactly, among other sweet things, that "Alexis has many perverse habits, one of the worst being the pleasure he takes in manipulating sweet innocent boys and turning them into insane killers." *sigh* To think that I'm such a sweet and lovable person.. =P Yes, Giulia and Melissa chose the character for me. ^^;

[01] - [livejournal.com profile] sori_chan, on the train. It doesn't have too much meaning. =P

[02] - At the train station, reunion pic. From the left to the rigth: Natascia (aka Nike - I didn't know her before, she's friends with Giulia and Melissa), Melissa, Giulia.

[03] - At the fast food where we spent all the morning chattering. Melissa again. Here she was making the "sorry face" (obviously false =P) for something.. but I don't remember what that was.

[04] - Walking, in the afternoon. I don't think they know I took that picture. =P

[05] - At the station's bookshop. The books' titles are: "A chimpanzee in your family" and "The monkeys' dance". The reason is simple: she had been mimicking the monkey's call (namely, "uki!") all day long, in spite of repeated not-so-veiled threats. =P

[06] - Giulia, as Augusta. Er.. in our imagination, she's appearing at a window. Yeah, I know.

[07] - Beware the Uki Face!

[08] - The two "brothers", Melissa and Natascia.

[06] - And during the day, Sadako pops in. The Ring, anyone? Pity there wasn't a well, around. =P

[09] - Family portrait. Still Giulia, still as Augusta, and me, as Alexis. I was supposed to make an arrogant, sadist, "I'm the high and mighty" face. From the way Natascia was laughing, it would seem that I succeded. :D (Yes, I ended up playing along.. if we have to do it, better do it the right way, don't you think? :D)

[10] - And finally an 'all together' pic. In front, Melissa and Natascia. Behind, me and Giulia. Taken about.. three minutes before boarding on the train? XD; And no, I can't make a natural smile to save my life. It's always like this, as soon as I'm posing in front of a camera my (eventual) smile gets always strained. (Unless I'm already laughing on my own, and someone takes a shot treacherously.. =P or unless I'm making funny faces.) Guh, my nose is huge. ^^;

That's all. =)

ETA: The fact that not even Serena can recognize me (and we saw each other less than a year ago), I think, is to be taken as the Definitive Clue that I'm not photogenic. Like, at all.

Wow, you're beautiful! I love your sleek dark hair. I'm glad you had such a good time. Damn, I wish I were in Rome-- spending a week there was one of my all-time favorite holidays.

Thank you! My hair isn't naturally sleek, though.. I straighten them from time to time (using both dryer and iron, the curls are quite stubborn. =P)!

spending a week there was one of my all-time favorite holidays.
Wouldn't be nice to take another one? =P But maybe Mini-Minx is still too little..
