Happy birthday, Serena!

So... as was to be expected (and if you didn't expect it, I'd be very surprised), when you asked for "men fucking other men" in the doodle-meme, I promptly ignored it. While, ok, this isn't quite "fucking" either, it's still a bit closer to it than a Guybrush holding a three-headed monkey. And I'm so sorry, while I was staring at the sheet it didn't seem so unfinished around the edges... (Mr. Mac, by the way, confirmed that I have Issues with ukes.) *sigh* It deserved way more time than what I had. I'd say I'll work more on it later, but I honestly don't know if I'll be able to.

To everyone who's never been here, yes, the characters, while original, are still related to HP. They are from the very, very, very first fanfiction I ever read. It's called The Wicked Game (commonly referred to as TWG). The top one is Martin, which has always been my favorite, while the bottom is Mac (diminutive for Malcolm), commonly known as Red Cross. *snickers* (My fault.. once I said stg like "Come on, teasing him is like shooting on the Red Cross". But if the nick sort of stuck after that, someone else is to blame for it, Seré. :P) Originally (very originally) it was a gen story. As you can see, it didn't resist the Slash for very long.

Honestly? I've been staring at the screen for quite a while, because I don't know what to say, or where to begin. We've been friends for so long - how many years, by the way? Four? Five? More? - that it has started to feel like it's been forever. We've talked of everything, I think, with the only exception of the ultimate meaning of life (even if, were we to give it a minute thought, we could come up with something for that as well... and we know very well which kind of explanation that would be. *laughs*), we've laughed of everything and then some, to the point that a few, selected words are enough to set us off. You've introduced me to a few joys of life (Harry Potter, slash and fanart, in no particular order). The "email rounds" between you, me and Melissa must have been one of the funniest, and best, things I've ever done. (I'm not really sure about what they were anymore, though... Reviews? Collective betareadings? Simply pure delirium?) And you're always been here. Always. Amazing as it is, to think of it now, you've become a constant in my life. What else can I say? Thank you for sticking around. Don't ever stop. :)

Nat, Nat, Nat... One of the sweetest girls ever. :) I'm glad I found you again, after all that time! While I hoped you would enjoy the Mart/Mac one, I wanted to give you one of your own. :) The problem was, though, that looking at your page I found out I've become very, very ignorant. ^^; In the end I drew you one Nicol Amarfi, basing myself on a picture I found online, since I don't even know which fandom he is from. *swallows* It's not by far what I wanted it to be, though.. I'm so sorry, I wanted to do something better! The time problem, though, applies here as well. Not to mention that I've yet to learn the "aging" trick. I swear that next time you'll have something better.

Oh, he's not. At all. I could say all the thousand little ways he is so not cute, but then you'll see them too, (if you don't already, but sometimes not knowing is better,) and I'm not that self-masochist. :P

Random thoughts number one: Martin looks quite horny here, I see read a certain bulge kind of "damn you, look what happen when you forgot to finish those certain yaoi novel you planned to make... are you gonna keep me chaste for the eternity?!" hint in his eyes. :'D And I love Mac's "(*) Finalmenteee! Aléé mortarettiii!" expression. These perv boys... (where is his kilt, by the way?! XD)

I was going to wonder WHEN it has ever been a gen story, then I remembered. Kinda. XDDD (then I thought of that scene with Chazz opening the door of Mart's room and seeing dirty things - Ö - and I started to laugh. I think I could rebirth Serina just to turn her into a man. Oh, I SO could. :'D)

About Martin, after drawing him I thought of "what the hell do you want? RUN FAST, if you want to keep your head on your shoulders." A horny Mart is a dangerous Mart, but we know that. And Mac is just plain awful. Most of the time I spent in drawing this was taken by him. I guess this was his idea of revenge on me. :P
