Happy birthday, [livejournal.com profile] ourmutualfiend!

Title: ... doh. (NO, 'doh' isn't the title of the picture. I just, er, didn't think to think of it.)
Fandom: Is anyone still checking this at all?
Rating: G. Yeah. At least, I think... PG really seems too much.
Notes: For the wonderiferous Oona, because today it's her birthday. You may have got that part already. :P

Happy birthday, Oo! Have fun, be happy, smile a lot, and I hope you'll have a great day and a even better year. And while we're there, a fabulous life as well.

Today it's all for you. *smooch*

Oh my, I'm so relieved to hear that you liked it. SO much. :D Image

So, how is your day going?

Are you kidding?! It's wonderful! I'm so...gah!

I'm heading off to work shortly. Like I told Ni, I may spend the afternoon prepping for a jacket I want to make- you know, shopping for the pattern, materials, etc. Then, of course, book time...

Aw, thank you so so much!

No, not kidding. Wow. Color me impressed! (I never went much beyond cross-stitch. :D) How did you learn?

Self taught. And very, very sloppy. I made a blouse last week that I could finally feel confident in and wear outside the confines of my house- no longer fearing the seams may rip or that the straps were uneven.

I loved loved loved doing cross-stitch as a little Oon.

That's really cool. It doesn't take just manual ability, but a lot of patience and dedication as well. Both qualities little Bruni never excelled at. :D

Bad Bruni- and I'm a disbeliever in your above statements. To be as gifted an illustrator as you are takes both manual dexterity AND patience.

Baby, you're ACE.

*laughs* But it's true! :D Mine is definitely more stubbornness than patience. (Sort of like 'ah, you aren't coming out the way I want you to? Well, we'll see who wins'. Often it's not me, but that's another story. :D) With cross-stitching... well, you have a pattern to follow anyway, haven't you? At least, in the little things one does as a child. I started to hate them within five minutes. The only sort-of-biggerish thing I did took me way more than a year, I think. :P

Have you got HBP, then? I doubt I will be receiving my copy before Tuesday... but, not having seen any spoiler, I'm still rather relaxed about it. :D

Read and read. Will be waiting to hear your thought once you've finished that last chapter.
