Did anyone say "cinema"?
Sep. 5th, 2003 11:57 am(AIM isn't going to work, today. *snort*)
Anyway, I'm quite happy. ^^ Finally, today there will be the release of "Pirates of Caribbean".. whose title has become something like "The Curse of the First Moon" (rough translation). I'm really looking forward to see it, I always liked Johnny Depp and people - whose taste I trust - told me positive comments about the film. My only problem is to find someone who'll come with me, but since I managed it when I wanted to go and see CoS, and no one among my friends likes HP (apart from the one I almost dragged with me), I doubt it'll be actually a 'problem'. ^^
And now I don't remember which is the date of PoA's release (here).. After the latest news - Thewlis with moustaches! Moustaches!! *lol* - I'm eager to had a good laugh. What, is anyone still going to try and keep a straight face? Clearly enough, the scene I long to see the most is the hug in the Shack. Honestly, just try to imagine: Thewlis, in threadbare robes - and MOUSTACHES, I remind you - I'm still hoping for a pipe, too - who embraces Oldman (who, in my mind, still wears specs) like a brother. After I read a certain amount of fanfics that give ANOTHER MEANING ALTOGETHER to that 'brother'. (Yeah, 'like a brother, my ass'. This is the line of thought.) And after I saw "Total Eclipse", where Thewlis performs one of the best ukes ever seen. (Ironic? Who? Me?)
How could anyone ask of me not to laugh?? Honestly.
Well, if I'll go again with Emanuele, I'm sure I'll restrain - there would be just too much to explain.. - but if Serena, Agnese, Betta will be with me.. I can *only* hope the usher won't throw us out.
...
Girls, we'll go together, won't we? XDDDD
Oh, and some time ago I found on a magazine a review on "Matrix Revolution".
Few notes: I saw the first film of the trilogy once, three years ago, and I don't know if I fell asleep, but afterwards I couldn't remember a character, a scene, anything. A friend of mine lately lent me the VHS, and the only thing I recognized was the special insert at the end of the film. =__= Which wasn't bad, anyway.. Sad for poor Mouse, as soon as I started liking him they killed him! Bastards!
The second film is another story entirely - man, I got so bored.. Until I started thinking of the various details, and trying - talking with those who were with me, after the film (obviously, after. People talking during projections has the strange magic of piss me off. Isn't it annoying?) - to put them together, and to guess the plot of the thrd film. It's something I always liked to do, either watching films or reading books.. it's like trying to solve a riddle. *grin*
Anyway, I'm sure I'll see "Revolution", even if I don't expect much from it. I'm just way too curious, as always, and after all Smith can be fun.. don't you think,
wicked_deceiver? ^__________^
Even if, to be totally honest, the prospect of seeing fourteen minutes of "final fight" isn't that appealing.
