That's the first image they showed (that I saw) when they said, on the news, that Daniele Mastrogiacomo had been freed.

Now, you tell me if that isn't beautiful.

On sillier accounts, )

P.S.: Also? I am totally, totally inept at coloring things. I can't even begin to list all the things that are wrong with that picture.
Since this time I remembered to set the backdate option, you shouldn't be able to see this entry, unless you stumble on the main page of my lj. =P (I think. At least, it's supposed to work this way. Maybe. Nice, this being always sure of everything.)

So, for you who did, a little gift!

Maybe someone will remember that, some time ago, I rambled a bit about a tree I had to color (in fact, the prospect didn't have me squeeing with joy)... Well, here it is. The tree I worked so long on. It's my first try at Photoshop - my first try at coloring at all, at least in cg - and saying that I hope it won't make your eyes cry is an understatement. ;)

Yes, I know, the star is hideous and the rest is bare, but there's an explanation for it. (For the bareness. Not for the star, sadly.) The final version saw a tree (how many times I used the word already, by the way?) full of balls (the first who makes a lewd joke - ha ha, no, I'm not to be taken into consideration - will receive a kick somewhere.), each of them containing the logo of one of our village's associations. Since I didn't know how many there were, I drew the ball separately. If you're curious, the little (...) ball can be found here can be found nowhere, since I left it home. *shrugs*

Anyway, the tutorial that [livejournal.com profile] khames did has truly been an asset - I wouldn't have known even were to start, otherwise. :)

And - well. That's really all, now. See you next year.. I'll miss you a lot, you know?
