Happy birthday, Chiara!

Sweetieeee! :D Happy birthday! Happy birthday! Happy birthday! I so hope you're having a wonderful day.
(I have to learn to do the sparkly thing.)
To You All: go on, try and say that Prongs looks like Riccardo Cocciante. You just try.
Cocciante, for those who don't know him.
On a not related note... it's funny how I only noticed it's this close to V-Day, because the main page of a site has turned a very ugly shade of more-purple-than-pink. Good thing I don't use it that much anymore.
ETA: So... time ago I was looking through the music I have, and I unearthed old cds whose existence I had almost forgot. Maybe someone remembers how besotted I was, more or less a year ago, with the record Piazzolla and Mulligan made..? Well, I still adore it now. Funny to think how it was my dad's, once. (Very once.) I understand, though, that probably a good part of my flist would go 'wtf?' at the names.. so, for your joy, I'm uploading a couple of them.
Twenty years ago is the first one in the record... At the beginning it's nice, but around the 4the minute (and 30 seconds) I start melting.
And Summit... well, Summit was my favorite.
Oh, and the trip down memory lane gave other fruits... Do someone know (or remember) this? Most of you won't... but there's a couple of you I'd be very disappointed with, in that case.
Oh, Serena! Nat! Lovely weather we're having today, aren't we? :3
ETA 2: Do you remember this? :D

on 2005-02-11 01:21 pm (UTC)RC is something horrible. Atrocious. Proof that Laura Pausini and ERos Ramazzotti are first class jewelry compared to other things you sent to conquer us. Only thing he was always kinda of a huge failure. Thank goodness!
I only know about V-day, because people talk about. We don't have that here, it means nothing to me, really. I only like how people seem to enjoy it, but I honestly thing is nothing but good business.
Ah, music must download! And go back to bed...
I LOVE YOU

on 2005-02-14 11:02 am (UTC)Oh, THANK YOU! ^*^
but you're a very sick person
Ahhh, you know me too well.. :D
Actually, it's just that Prongs' hair is the main reason that made me postpone drawing him for so long. (Although there should be another sketch, somewhere in the world.) When, after finishing, I looked at it.. I made a face and said "Hi, Richie." (Well, the actual thing I said was less like that and more like a curse, but that's no news, since I always do a lot of that when I'm drawing. ^^; After a bit I get even creative.)
But what really surprised me is that you know him! I thought that only the Italians would have known what I was talking about. Now, tell me you know Albano and Romina Power too, and I'll have no more doubts that, in order to be an Italian singer and being known somewhere that is not here, you have to be bad.
V-day never held a great meaning to me, either. Most of the times it went past unnoticed (by me). But that could be also because I don't really watch that much tv anymore.

on 2005-02-19 07:54 am (UTC)Yes. Sad as it is. But I think they never work, same as Cocciante, they tried and tried and never made it. But we all had fun making jokes about Cocciante.
And Nicola Di Bari? I think he was really famous. Very ugly, very short, with glasses, a very poor voice... And old, I remember him always being old... He recorded albums in Spanish, a few days ago a guy played a bit of a song, he said it marked he's childhood because it was his grandmother's fav song, and the guy is like 40 so... And the song was 'Rosa this and Rosa that' :)
It's sad.

on 2005-02-14 11:48 am (UTC)I've seen your journal, and I have to say that I truly like your art. :) (I'm also madly envious of anyone who can color well, but that's another story.) Your Ron is the sweetest ever. :)

The mood icon set is lovely, isn't it? :3 Idroppedarice (http://www.livejournal.com/users/idroppedarice/94203.html) did a very good job. :D (But considering how long it took to upload it, I very much doubt I'll change it ever again. ^^;)

I almost died when I read "Buke" X°D(bad bad girl T_T).
Yes.. I know, I'm incredible handsome as you pictured me in your drawing, but I don't look like Cocciante (gnu gnu manco per idea >__<).
Btw my new glasses are really similar to the ones you drew XDDD

And I couldn't not say Buke at least once. The entry wouldn't have been complete otherwise.
You're welcome! :D
