Thursday is a very very bad day for internet free time - so bad that I've jst got time for this.

(I'm sorry it's in Italian. I am surely going to write an entry on it before the elections anyway - if anything to let out stress. Why can't it be Monday evening already?)

(Molto probabilmente e' solo una barzelletta. Leggetela come una barzelletta. :D)

(I added a note to the last post - there's something I had forgot to write and that someone noticed, making me very very happy. :D )

That guy is such an asshole, we've been having a lot of news (or is it gossip) from Italy these days, but even the right-wing newspaper were shocked at that.
It's really not a smart move to call 'boludos' (that's our word for coglioni :P) to the people who are going to post in a few days.

*crossing my fingers*

I love you *hugs*

Really? Now I'm curious, what did you hear?

He is getting desperate. I mean, the major, most sold Italian newspaper (Il Corriere della Sera), a few weeks ago declared he sided up with Prodi. Confindustria, the union of all Italian industrialists/entrepreneurs (!!!) is left-winged now, the surveys give him as loser... quite to be expected. But we're going way over the limit.

Honestly, I've reached the point when I can't hear any politician talk anymore.

A quanto ne so,Berlusconi ha detto veramente quelle cose.

This is the Babel Fish translation:

"A lot probably e' only one joke. Leggetela like one joke. :D)

Berlusconi has rendered publishes its conception of one good meta' of the electorate, declaring: "I have too much esteem for intelligence of the Italians in order to believe that us they can be in turn many coglioni that vote for just the disinterestedness."

Mannheimer therefore has assigned the Victoria mathematical to the Union, observing: "the coglioni are necessarily the double quantity of the witness of haul."

I, uh, think I got the jist of it.

(In all likelihood it's just a joke. Read it as if it was a joke. :D)

Berlusconi made know the opinion he holds of a good half of the electorate, declaring: «I think too highly of Italian people's intelligence to believe that there are so many pillocks around who would vote against their own interest.»

Mannheimer therefore assigned a mathematical victory to the Union, observing that: «Pillocks are necessarily twice the number of cockfaces.»

...the joke doesn't make any sense, until you know the our word for pillock (coglioni) literally means "man's balls". Which are necessarily two times their cocks, and their cocks' heads (teste di cazzo). (I tried cockface thinking of buttface.)

(Sorry for getting this dirty.)

...and that man is our Prime Minister. You know. The one I can't wait to get RID of.

Ack! Monkeys!

I get it now! I was just laughing over how mangled the Babel Fish was. I'm just amazed a politician could call members of the electorate "balls"! That's fucked up *nother bong hit*

Not exactly his smartest moment... but that's pretty much their tone. It's probably very very sad that I wasn't all that surprised. I was more a sad kind of amused.

Well, he won't win again, right? In The Daily Show book America, they do a little feature on Italian politics and say that at some point everyone in Italy will serve as president.

*taps chin* I wonder if I could get away with tax discounts to those who promote the slash cause... but I'd have to be fair, and not include just, you know, the puppies and few other pairings. And giving money to see more Snupin stuff sprouting... ;P

Hehehe! For that to happen, though, the next goverment should last far less than what I hope/fear (then again, depending on this afternoon's outcome... ;) )

The best thing, anyway, is that people are beginning to use Coglione as a compliment now. I do love my world sometimes. :D
