Uiiii! I have a bunch of things I want to do today. I have something of an hour now (which is nothing for me, slow as I am) (as bad as I am, I'm worse than I seem) (why oh WHY the coffee kicks in only once I've finished classes??) (well, finished for now.) (off my rocker? Who, me? Naaaah...), and this afternoon - though I should probably spend it studying. Let's see if I'll give myself a free afternoon or not. Mmmh. Anyway, a few of you should receive mails today. Hmmm. If I'm productive. Oh HAHAHA.

Anyway, since I obviously haven't enough things to do:

How many times has someone on your friends list posted about something and you were really confused, but you didn't want to ask because you knew you SHOULD know? How many times have you felt guilty asking a close LJ friend a question that should be obvious?

Well, here's your chance.

If you've missed a few things, missed an entry and are confused, ask me any thing. Even something EXTREMELY basic, like where I live! I'm not allowed to get even slightly irritated at any of the questions - we've all missed things before.

Another appealing meme is the "tell me an HP character and an expression and I'll sketch it" one. Except that I would draw only sticky men, but.

Oh, QUESTION! Does anyone know of reliable and (hopefully) freeware software to recover lost data on USB disks and the like? I've only tried BadCopy, but it's a shareware. Which means that it scans the disk, recovers all the data, shows you pretty previews, but doesn't let you save them.

Er.

Help?

I can't think of anything I've missed to asked except I know where you live (well, approximately) and wanted to know your favorite places in the whole wide world.

My favorite places? Uuhhm. Uuuuuhm. I wouldn't know. Well, one is the bath - when it's full of very hot water. :D I had one not too long ago, after years of just showers, and ohmygod. It did take a while to get in the water, and, er, my skin turned a little red, but god was it worth it.

Then... this is going to sound strange, but there is this little square of floor between my bed and the window, with the nightstand on one side, where I really like to read. I curl up, with a blanket around myself if it's winter and the radiator is off, and I'm capable to stay like this for hours. ...after a while my knees start to hurt, though. :P

That is EXACTLY what I wanted to hear!

I love a good bath- why so long? I remember Lana mentioning that when she was in a boarding flat in London for a year she never could take a bath because there was only a shower and what a luxury it was one weekend to housesit for someone with a tub.

I had the opposite problem at my second place in Austin- the shower head didn't work, so it was months and months of baths and crouching under the faucet to wash my hair; no piping hot quick shower to wash away the Texas grime.

*love*

Showers take so much less time. And the feeling of the hot spray of water on your nape is something I adore, too. :D

Eee, that must have been uncomfortable enough... (Long or short hair?) And oh, I really can't think of taking a bath in Jul- or maybe I do. Sort of like a mini swimming pool. :)

I had shoulder length hair at the time. Yeah, I still sometimes wash my hair like this if I'm in a hurry.

I remember that little apartment. It was pretty nice; I just had no furniture!

You drew me lovely, lovely art for Secret Santa--would it bother you if I made an icon? And used it? Er. This icon (points up)

Sorry I can't help with the computer problem--good luck!

Nere! (Io intanto ho risposto. ;P Come dice papà, "la parte dell'obbligo mio" l'ho fatta! XD)

Ma di brutto! E fortuna che non c'era nessuno a casa, con il nervoso che avevo addosso sarebbero volati coltelli. Adesso neanche me la vede più, il pc. :P
