(For the record, I still haven't seen those episodes. I have them recorded, since I was out that night, but I've only managed to see the first twenty minutes or so.)

But I'm such a caring, compassionate person, that my soul - I have just spent five minutes of my life just trying (and failing) to imagine an appropriate verb for that - for his poor, tortured soul!
