Am unimpressed.
Maybe it was because I haven't read the book; the book is probably better, more detailed (and diluted) than the movie, but god. Every five minutes it was a "oh look! There is a very underscored but apparently meaningless detail! Might it be a clue?"
And nevermind the Heir. I mean. Sir Leigh is all "women women women women let's find the Heir." And oh look, Sophie is the only woman in the whole movie.
*gasp* Whoever might be the Heir?

on 2006-06-11 02:17 pm (UTC)Del Codice ho già parlato nel mio lj,e non mi dilungherò.Devo dire che il libro mi era piaciuto di più,forse perché tutto il clamore mediatico mi aveva preso...Anche se le teorie che sosteneva le avevo sentite non so per quanti anni dalla mia prof d'inglese.
Il film,a parte Bettany,non mi è piaciuto,in parte anche per il lavoro di doppiaggio fatto,quello schifo di accento simil francese alla Closeau,e parti in lingua.Ha seguito fedelmente il libro,per carità,ma hanno tolto gran parte del mistero (ne erano 2 di criptex!) e del finale.
