So I was walking, half an hour ago, and I met this old, BIG crush of mine. Hello-hello, how-are-you, how's-it-going, gotta-get-going-now, and when we part I go to check my mp3 player - and the shuffle option had jumped to Madness' Must Be Love. No, honestly. It's not even fair. :P

Maybe it was Mani Pulite, yep. I remember it was huge and it was constantly on the cover of our newspapers for weeks or months even.

Politics are tempting, money and power are shiny :)

But I thought it was OK, there's divorce already and... I'm just realising how ignorant I am about Italy. I really thought things were a lot better there than they are, even with Berlusconi.

Well, if he wins again AND lasts another five years... yep. I'm crying inside just at the thought. Wailing, actually.

Five years of him didn't do us any good at all. :( I mean, at the end of last year we had a growt of 0%. (Spain was of about 3%, if I'm not wrong. Well...) Now, I don't think we're on the verge of breaking down, but we're not exactly good either. :( Still, I'm optimist to the core! Wednesday will go well!

(And if it doesn't, I WILL find that box big enough to ship myself across the ocean! :D)

(And once I do... well. Do offer some sweets to the post(wo)man, s/he'll need them. ;) )

Heh. More than walking backwards, we're really still stuck in the same place where we've been for last 8 centuries. :(

Ooooh, but they won't know there's me inside - even though, now that I think about it, it might be fun to talk to them on the way to the Bat Cave. Maybe insult them or something. I wonder if I could bring them to have a fight with some random passerby. *g* I'd have to learn Spanish insults, though...
