[i'm dean thomas]

...and which lesser Harry Potter character are you?

Congrats! You're Gryffindor fourth-year Dean Thomas!

At first glance, there might not be too much to set you apart from the rest. On closer examination, however, it's easy to see that you're laid back, artistic, and as loyal as any Hufflepuff. Best of all, your biggest argument in three years has been about why the people in your posters don't move .

(Your moment of glory - so far, at least - comes any time Gryffindor House needs some notable decorations.)

Bwahahaha... and now I'm back to my not-moving sources of whining. :P

(Also, I told myself, I'll listen to The View From The Afternoon just once and then I'll shut the thing down, because I'm twice as slow when I'm doing things AND listening to music.

Technically I haven't been listening to anything else. I just hit the "back" button everytime the song comes to a close.)

Just one more thing, partly because it's a personal curiosity, partly because I can post the damn things and I never do, and partly because when I watched it with three other friends, I was the only one who loved it instead of grumbling and complaining:

Oh hell, it WAS. Have you seen Donnie Darko? It's nowhere as dark and nowhere as complicated, but in some ways it made me think of that. And oh, it was so sweet and touching.

Heart all the way.

And the girls around me kept huffing and complaining here and there - though I suspect that for the most part it was more to tease me than anything else. :P

Mwahaha - I don't know how much of a Hufflepuff I might be, but yup, it was fun. ;D

I haven't seen Donnie Darko at all. Hell if I remember last time I saw a film anyways. :/

WATCH IT. REALLY. DO. That movie is simply brilliant, that's what it is. One of the best ones I've seen. It comes with a side dish of teenage!angst, if you're bothered by that, but you won't really notice it much - you'll be paying much more attention to unraveling it all. :D :D :D

I'm telling you - the first time I watched it? I hardly followed at all the last ten minutes, I was bouncing so hard with the "OMG I'VE GOT IT" feeling.

...and if you're still interested in book recs? SO MUCH AWESOME ALL TOGETHER (http://poppyzbrite.com/char_stubbs.html). No, I never get tired of pimping it. *g* That's also the reason why I have a buttpaste icon at all. ;)
