So, I've seen Proof. (Been wanting to for a while.) Mentally disturbed mathematicians all around, a song named i made of three minutes of silence, a truly adorable Jake Gyllenhaal. Who plays drums.

On other news, I have tried to take a look at my flist - and had to give up at skip=99999999999. Have saved a bunch of entries, though, so I'll try to watch those at least. :P I also owe comments/emails, but that won't be done before next weekend, I'm afraid.

Aha! 'Proof'! We watched that in Calculus class at the end of the year when our national exams were over - an excellent film. One of Gwyneth Paltrow's few performances that actually impressed me (leave alone 'didn't make me want to vomit'). And Jake reaches new levels of attractiveness in that film. It was incredibly frustrating to watch in a room where I was the only girl, since I had to stifle my impulses to cry 'Oh my God, HOTNESS!' every time he was onscreen.

Oh, trust me - it wasn't exactly a dream come true. Half of them didn't pay any attention in class, and the other half? Probably gay. I sometimes wonder whether it wasn't that class that drove me to a women's college.

I'm doing very well - I'm off of work for a week or so, so I get to enjoy being with friends and reading books (not to mention seeing OotP tonight!).
