[Art] - Broken
Feb. 14th, 2007 11:43 amTitle: Broken
Characters: James Potter
Rating: G
Notes: Some of you might remember this - quite a long time ago, I did a picture for the "broken" prompt, for
fanart100. I've been going through old stuff for the website I'm putting up, looking what was viewable and what could use a fix. The old pic could use a fix.
I ended up redoing it entirely.
I am me.
(A drawing that actually fits in the page. I'm having troubles believing it.)
Old pic's notes:
James, at his parents' funeral. Actually, there is a reason behind his wearing a suit opposed to a robe. While, if I'm not mistaken, JKR stated in an interview that James' parents' death wasn't tied directly to Voldemort, the war (its premises, at the very least) were there already. I can see James as someone only able to deal with his pain by turning it in anger. And didn't I just bore you to death.
(I don't think they apply that much anymore, though - especially about the anger, in this version it's not really there. It was a very quick drawing - I don't think I spent much more than half an hour on it. Yeah, for me half an hour is VERY quick. :P)
