This is something else I'm really happy about. :D

There are so many fucked up things about my country, but that we promoted that? Yeah. Makes me feel good.

Del resto, un conto è stare zitti, e un conto è dire no, no? ;)

My state (largely populated with Italian-Americans like me :) has just abolished the death penalty this week, so be proud of us, too! The sentences of the 8(?) guys on death row were commuted, as well.

Oh mannn I'm so jealous!!!! The Canadian government is dancing dangerously towards supporting capital punishment.. Recently they've stopped fighting for the rights of Canadians who are sentenced to die overseas.. :(

Ouch ouch ouch D: That doesn't sound too good, not at all :(

Still, it's not like the moratorium is actually binding, you know? It's not going to stop anyone. But it still means something.

*Waves shyly* Hello!

Heh, if you want to talk about fucked up, you should see my country. We haven't abolished the death penalty yet, which makes me >:( And so many things too, the politics, mainly. Which makes my brother rant on the phone to his friend. Me, I just don't enjoy the education system. Glad to be out of it, actually, now that I'm 18. If possible, NO ONE wants to continue university education here. I mean, studying here just sucks the SOUL away. I need some place to explore (i.e. I REALLY want to go to Japan!)

Eeeps sorry for ranting!

Hurray for the Italians! I find it absurd that this is even an issue anymore - if I'm not mistaken, the Middle Ages have passed.

Thank you. ;D (It was in 1786 that the death penalty was abolished for the first time in a state, go figure...)

Right! I don't see how anyone can look at the data on innocent people being sentenced to death, and still support capital punishment. And you want to talk about someone who's a threat to society?
