Oh dear, I am SUCH A GEEK.

...and as unashamed of as it could possibly get. Ever. I knew it was coming out - it got a glowing review on the newspaper, and as I wandered in the bookshop today (looking around for gifts for mom, it's Mother's Day here next Monday SUNDAY, I meant Sunday), I checked it out, in case they had the English original--

--but they only had the Italian translation. Which means that I ordered the original. :P

(I know I could have got it off Amazon, but... well, I was there already, and it takes months for their stuff to arrive anyway. :P What I get off amazon.com, at least. I guess it's the ocean-crossing.)

Still. HAPPY! I don't know when it'll arrive, I'm afraid around the beginning of June, but. Aw. Happy.

(And geeky. Oh yes I'm geeky all right.)

And AWWWWWWW how MUCH I loved the man! I so would have married him. ...except for the age difference. Which I totally tried to ignore until, ahem, I read he had turned 52.

And the article was on the Mickey Mouse comics I used to read every week.

There was something about the juxtaposition that just drove the point home... ;P

I do verymuch love this icon. I feel that yes, my face really DOES look like that a lot of the time.
